My magento product pictures has gone missing by themselves - php

I'm having a problem with my magento system.
For some reason some of the products pictures disappeared by themselves.
I noticed it today as i was surfing my site. all i know of the issue is that today earlier the pictures were there and now they're gone.. i did check my ftp to see if the pictures are still there and they are..
anyone suffered from this problem or knows what might be the problem?

Have you checked out your permissions? Does folder media have the right ones?

All Media Uploads broken after database prefix change

I've recently changed my wordpress database prefix from wp_ to something else.
After doing so, none of my images are showing on the site.
When i go to Media within wp-admin, image thumbnails are all greyed out.
I've changed upload folder permissions and I've tried regenerating thumbnails but it's as if wordpress no longer knows the route to my uploads folder.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
Any help is much appreciated.

Woocommerce Page Setup Fields Missing

On the Wordpress dashboard under Woocommerce > Settings > Advanced there are normally fields where you can link a page to a function (Cart, Checkout, My Account etc.)
For some reason mine have disappeared and all my old links now return a 404.
See what I mean?
I can't find an answer anywhere on the web and I've tried everything I can think of. Anyone had a similar issue?
The issue seemed to appear after installing one of these plugins:
Woocommerce Upload My File
Easy File Upload
I have deactivated both but the issue persists.
I've tried:
Other browsers
De/Reactivating Woocommerce
Restarting the Web Server
Is it possible for plugins to make modifications that remain even after they are deactivated?
Please help!
Edit: I've isolated it to being an error in the database. I exported my site with WP All-In-One Migration Tool and exported everything besides the database. Does anybody know which database entries relate to woocommerce settings?

Wordpress Edit Image Button Disappeared

Have a UGC app being run by WP 3.7.1 (I know I need to upgrade to 3.8.1). Users upload images, admin can approve/reject, all good. Admin also HAD the ability to edit an image (rotate being the biggest need) directly in the WP Media Edit screen. All of sudden this button has disappeared.
I have seen this as a fairly common bug from a few years past, but common solutions don't seem to be working.
I have confirmed that PHP GD is running on the server and I have disabled a number of plugins. These are the two common solutions I've seen listed before. Neither have resolved this issue for me.
Any thoughts to why this button would have disappeared or ways to ensure it is enabled?
Check is dir '/wp-content/uploads' writable.

the theme is unable to upload featured image in wordpress?

recently I changed a theme that originally it was able to upload featured images, but this changed theme of mine! is unable of doing that.
I've tried replacing all the old files from old theme that I taught that I might have changed them, (one by one, and testing...) but I have no results. It's so frustrating please I put so much time on it, I just wanna know that I should focus on which files, I mean which files could have an effect on this problem???
I GET THIS ERROR ON UPLOADING: "An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later."
PS. I read this: wordpress featured image uploader not working
and it helped, but it's not an ultimate solution, I need this to be fixed.
REALLY Appreciate a HELP.
PSS. (I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS IS JUST A THEME PROBLEM)
I know this an old post but I was battling with this for some time and could not find a solution. I finally figured out my problem. For some reason after I updated the SIDEKICK plugin it started interfering with that function. As soon as I deleted SIDEKICK it worked. Not only that all the images I had tried to upload in my media center suddenly showed up. Hope this helps someone.
If it's a problem with uploading it either has something to do with your server or media settings? Did you change the location for media files.
Or it has something to do with the rights on your server. Maybe the folder where you are trying to upload to doesn't have the proper read/write permissions?
Hope this helps

Magento 1.7.0.2 - Image type and information need to be specified for each store view

I have Magento 1.7.0.2 installed and running. When I go to add a new product I am getting the "Image type and information need to be specified for each store view."
Steps I Have Tried:
1) Navigate to System -> Manage stores
2) Click one each of your store views, and choose “disable”
3) Save
4) Clear all cache
5) re-enable your store view
6) clear cache again
Did that about 6 times. I also tried adding a store view then doing all those steps again and that didn't work, so I deleted the store view I created since this site only needs one store view.
Other things I tried.
1) Disable all 3rd Party Extensions
2) Go to Stock Theme
3) Renaming the .htaccess in the media folder.
Does anyone have other suggestions on what to try?
EDIT: The Browse and Upload buttons weren't showing up as well, and apparently it had nothing to do with the message I am getting. After Nick Darley's help I was able to get the buttons to appear but the message is still there, which I can live with.
I had the same issue in Magento CE 1.9 and all other answers did not work. I ended up going to skin/adminhtml/default/default/media and changing the permissions for uploader.swf and that worked for me. Also, make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed for your browser.
So after looking into the issues with the provided credentials I see this error.
I also looked into your configuration and see that you are running magento in a sub-directory. I see you aren't having any other issues from the looks of it so I would just suggest a quick fix.
Create a new folder in the root called skin and then upload a copy of the adminhtml from your server. After that, that should resolve your issue with it not being able to find the file.
"Image type and information need to be specified for each store view."
For those who are getting this error please try change flash setting or run in different browser. It works for me. Thanks
Image type and information need to be specified for each store view:
Go to File structure root/media/ dhl
Cut or delete the “dhl” folder from there.
Clear cache from Admin Panel and now do upload the images
Hope, Its working good.
According to the Magento user manual, before adding images to the Magento Gallery, one must select the store view which it shows on the top left as a dropdown. That would make perfect sense.
I am running Magento with shared hosting on GoDaddy and I do not see a dropdown for that view although I have found that dropdown in another place. Are you using Magento Shared Hosting on GoDaddy? According to http://www.submitdigital.com/questions/magento-1-7-image-upload-issues-help-image-type-and-information-need-to-be-specified-for-each-store-view/ it may be an issue specific to the way it is being installed or hosted.
Check if your internet firewall is not blocking the execution of audio and video files, because it needs to execute the files bellow:
/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/flex.swf
/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/uploader.swf
/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/uploaderSingleswf
Hope it helps.
