Firstly, I am a total php newby.
Secondly, below is the php header plus corresponding recursive commands for 2 photo lightboxes that are in the same html page.
Without the lines
getRecords() as $Title_row){ ?>
The page shows shows the first picture that is held in the external db table in the lightbox correctly.
Yet when I add the line below to add all the other entries in each table
getRecords() as $Title_row){ ?>
the page goes white and the browser html return is empty.
As I do not really understand what I am doing, I am stuck. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

When I echo my own variable to a div container it comes out as plaint text (unformatted). I don't understand why echoing a Magento variable comes out formatted but mine doesn't? Here's my code, in particular the <?php if(!isset($specialPrice)): { ?> section which I created. Here is the code:

Does anyone know what could be going wrong?
$product['price'] returns you a unformatting price value.
Maybe you can call a block function, for example $block->getPrice() and in getPrice() you need to format the price by your custom preferences.
If you want to add styles to your price value then you need to use a magento tag class

In that code, I've got two DB queries. My problem is, if there is no data for both queries, the div with the class "connect_wrap" should not be displayed.
How can I do that?

do you want to check if the query has data in it and its not empty ? if so try num_rows it will return the number of rows that the query found/affected for example to check if th query returned one or more rows

Move the query execution up or preferably: not within the html but in a different file/class. Then add a check before the content_wrap div: if($kundenResult->num_rows >= 1 || $solutionsResult->num_rows >= 1). If you just keep the individual checks like you already have, it will only show the content_wrap div if either or both of the queries return rows of data.

There is a Drupal connector from Smartling that may be of help. Here is a video showing how the connector works.
Many sites running on Smartling do language/country-specific image replacement, which is explained here.

my problem is that when the div with detail info is open, I need the specific info from the query of that info, so I would need to do a query or somthing again and do it without refreshing the page. How could I do this?
