I have the following MySQL query in PHP that passes a variable to complete the query:
SELECT * from mobile_tech WHERE uid=$uid order by timestamp DESC limit 0,1
I have the following MySQL JOIN that provides data from two tables:
SELECT mobile_tech.latitude, mobile_tech.longitude, mobile_tech.timestamp, mobile_tech.uid, gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo, gbl_qemplisting.FirstName, gbl_qemplisting.LastName
FROM mobile_tech, gbl_qemplisting
WHERE mobile_tech.uid=gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo AND date(timestamp)='$currentday'
group by uid
I need to combine these two queries into one with a JOIN and still passing the $uid variable to complete the query.
I've tried the following and it did not work:
SELECT mobile_tech.latitude, mobile_tech.longitude, mobile_tech.timestamp, mobile_tech.uid, gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo, gbl_qemplisting.FirstName, gbl_qemplisting.LastName
FROM mobile_tech, gbl_qemplisting
WHERE mobile_tech.uid=$uid AND gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo=$uid AND date(timestamp)='$currentday'
Your query will return a cross product between the mobile_tech and gbl_emplisting rows for $uid. If you just want one row, as in the first query, use ORDER BY and LIMIT similarly.
SELECT mobile_tech.latitude, mobile_tech.longitude, mobile_tech.timestamp, mobile_tech.uid, gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo, gbl_qemplisting.FirstName, gbl_qemplisting.LastName
FROM mobile_tech, gbl_qemplisting
WHERE mobile_tech.uid=$uid AND gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo=$uid AND date(timestamp)='$currentday'
ORDER BY mobile_tech.timestamp
LIMIT 1
Please try with this and say the result
SELECT mobile_tech.latitude,
mobile_tech.longitude,
mobile_tech.timestamp,
mobile_tech.uid,
gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo,
gbl_qemplisting.FirstName,
gbl_qemplisting.LastName
FROM mobile_tech inner join gbl_qemplisting
on mobile_tech.uid=gbl_qemplisting.EmpNo
where mobile_tech.uid=$uid AND date(timestamp)='$currentday'

i query to check if a point(input) is intersect with polygons in php:
$sql1="SELECT ST_intersects((ST_SetSRID( ST_Point($startlng, $startlat),4326))
, zona_bahaya.geom) as intersek
FROM zona_bahaya";
$query1 = pg_query($conn,$sql1);
$check_location = pg_fetch_array($query1);
if (in_array('t',$check_location)) {
dosemthing1;}
else {dosomething2;}
it's work peroperly before i update the data
after data updated, it's only show the first row when i check the pg_fetch_array result. here is the result {"0":"f","intersek":"f"} .
i try to check from pgadmin and it's can show 8 result (1 true(intersected) and 7 false(not intersect)) using updated data with this query:
SELECT ST_intersects((ST_SetSRID( ST_Point(110.18898065505843, -7.9634510320131175),4326))
, zona_bahaya.geom) as intersek
FROM zona_bahaya;
to solve it, i order the query result descended so the 'true' gonna be the first like this:
order by intersek desc
anybody can help me to findout way it just only show the first row???
here some geom from STAsText(zonabahaya.geom) not all of them : MULTIPOLYGON(((110.790892426072 -8.19307615541514,110.791999687385 -8.19318330973567,110.794393723931 -8.1927980624753,110.794586347561 -8.19205508561603,110.795329324421 -8.19120203811094,110.796540101525 -8.19023891996003,110.797503219676 -8.18933083713203,110.798576408472 -8.18919324882476,110.79929186767 -8.18957849608512,110.800337538805 -8.19059664955894,110.800585197758 -8.19150473238694,110.80022746816 -8.19238529755349,110.799787185576 -8.19290813312112,110.799589319279 -8.19300706626968,110.798788231202 -8.19299429992581,110.798537293576 -8.19311976873883,110.79850269889 -8.1933090511224,110.798620939451 -8.19433728092441)))
In order to filter only the records that intersect you have to use ST_Intersects in the WHERE clause:
SELECT *
FROM zona_bahaya
WHERE ST_Intersects(ST_SetSRID(ST_Point(110.18, -7.96),4326),zona_bahaya.geom);
Since you're dealing with points and polygons, perhaps you should take a look also at ST_Contains.
In case you want to fetch only the first row you must set a limit in your query - either using LIMIT 1 or FETCH FIRST ROW ONLY -, but it would only make sense combined with a ORDER BY, e.g.
SELECT *
FROM zona_bahaya
JOIN points ON ST_Intersects(points.geom,zona_bahaya.geom)
ORDER BY gid
FETCH FIRST ROW ONLY;
Demo: db<>fiddle
I'm trying to join two views which I create in a query.
The query works fine in MySQL but when I execute it with PHP it looks like it's not actually executing because I can't visualize the two views in the db.
The query I'm executing is the following:
$query1 = "CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW new_tbl AS SELECT
AnagTav.Id,
AnagTav.Riga,
AnagTav.Colonna,
AnagTav.Costo,
AnagTav.Nome,
AnagTav.NumeroPersone,
PrenPic.Data AS Occupato,
PrenPic.IdUtente
FROM `AnagraficaTavoli` AS AnagTav
LEFT JOIN PrenotazioniPicNic AS PrenPic ON PrenPic.IdTavolo = AnagTav.Id
WHERE (PrenPic.Data >= '".$dateFrom."' AND PrenPic.Data <= '".$dateTo."')
OR PrenPic.Data IS NULL
GROUP BY CASE
WHEN AnagTav.Nome != '' THEN AnagTav.Nome
ELSE AnagTav.Id
END
ORDER BY AnagTav.Riga ASC, AnagTav.Colonna;
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW new_tbl2 AS SELECT
AnagraficaTavoli.*,
Occupato,
IdUtente
FROM AnagraficaTavoli
LEFT JOIN new_tbl ON (AnagraficaTavoli.Id = new_tbl.Id)
WHERE new_tbl.Id IS NULL;";
$result=$conn->query($query1);
After creating the 2 views I execute a second query:
if($result){
$query2 = "SELECT * FROM new_tbl
UNION
SELECT * FROM new_tbl2
ORDER BY Riga ASC, Colonna;";
$resultList=$conn->query($query2);
while($rowList=$resultList->fetch_assoc())
{
//I do stuff here
}
}
$conn is my connection to the db
I tried printing the query and executing it on MySQL, but it works fine.
I don't know why I'm getting this error and I don't know how to solve it.
This might be non obvious, but if you keep your script connected, you can access you temporary tables in separate queries. What you should do is to slice your query into three different operations, especially the "select" being a separate one. Only having single select statement in a query, php will be able to properly fetch resultset.
I want to apply conditions with my query like i want to interchange one column's value to another column. Here is my query and now i am not getting how to apply
mysqli_query($connect, "
select
user_pro.User_No,
user_pro.Fist_Name,
user_pro.Last_Name,
user_pro.Designation,
user_pro.Profile,
user_pro.ProfileDP,
user_fndrst.Frnd_SNo,
user_fndrst.Rqst_Sender,
user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver,
user_fndrst.Rqst_Status
from
user_profile INNER JOIN user_fndrst ON user_pro.User_No = user_fndrst.Rqst_Sender
WHERE
user_fndrst.Rqst_Status='1' AND
user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver='$user_id'
ORDER BY Frnd_SNo DESC
");
Here "user_pro" table contains user's details, "user_fndrst" table contains user's friend request status and $user_id is user's logined id. Here I want that IF user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver='$user_id' THEN user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver value change to user_fndrst.Rqst_Sender.
For this I have stuck with user friend request status fetching from table "user_fndrst".
It seems your query has some problems. Use this:
SELECT
user_pro.User_No, user_pro.Fist_Name, user_pro.Last_Name, user_pro.Designation, user_pro.Profile, user_pro.ProfileDP, user_fndrst.Frnd_SNo, user_fndrst.Rqst_Sender, user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver, user_fndrst.Rqst_Status
FROM
user_profile user_pro
INNER JOIN user_fndrst ON user_pro.User_No = user_fndrst.Rqst_Sender
WHERE
user_fndrst.Rqst_Status='1' AND user_fndrst.Rqst_Receiver='$user_id'
ORDER BY
user_fndrst.Frnd_SNo DESC
I have two databases and I am trying to compare two tables. My code does not seem to be working, not sure what I am doing wrong.
Here is the code.
<?php
include 'connection.php';
/*
* This code compares between two tables
*/
//SQL call
$getData = $connection->prepare("SELECT `CustomerCity` FROM `auth` LEFT JOIN `tb_data.cobs.city` WHERE `CustomerCity` = `tb_data.cobs.city` LIMIT 3");
$getData->execute();
$gotData = $getData->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);
print_r($gotData);
In my database I have two tables, on is cobs, the other is tb_data. tb_data has a table called cobs and auth is a table within a database called d_data. Both of these tables have a city column. I need get every record in auth that has a city that matches in the cobs table.
That looks like the query is using a mixture of explicit join syntax with obsolescent syntax for the join using the WHERE clause for the join conditions.
If so try:-
SELECT CustomerCity
FROM auth
LEFT JOIN tb_data.cobs
ON auth.CustomerCity = cobs.city
LIMIT 3
Others have pointed out that your query is wrong, but have not provided a correct answer. This is what you are likely looking for:
SELECT `auth.CustomerCity` FROM `auth`
LEFT JOIN `tb_data.cobs` ON `tb_data.cobs.city` = `auth.CustomerCity`
LIMIT 3
Try this :
Select *.auth, *.cobs from auth join cobs on auth.city = cobs.city limit 3
The query is incorrect, you need to specify the link betweeen the tables auth and tb_data.cobs.city. For example:
SELECT
*
FROM
FOOTABLE FOO
LEFT JOIN
BARTABLE BAR ON BAR.FOO_ID FOO.ID = -- here goes the link between them
WHERE
...
I have to check a parameter in a while loop by counting the number of lines in a table. Right now I am doing it this way but it seems very inefficient
while ($stmt->fetch()) {
$stmt3 = $mysqli->prepare("SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT id_roster)
FROM dispo
WHERE id_member = ?");
$stmt3->bind_param('i', $id_alerte);
$stmt3->execute();
$stmt3->store_result();
$stmt3->bind_result($number_dispo);
$stmt3->fetch();
echo $number_dispo;
}
Any idea how I can make it faster (without repeating the query in each loop iteration?
SELECT
id_member, COUNT(DISTINCT dispo.id_roster)
FROM
test.dispo
GROUP BY id_member;
For this data:
id_roster;id_member
1;1
1;1
2;1
3;2
4;2
5;2
6;3
produces a list of all id_members together with associated distinct count of id_roster for each one:
id_member;count
1;2
2;3
3;1
You could further limit this query to only certain id_members
by adding a
WHERE id_member IN (1,2)
clause before the GROUP BY.
You need to combine the outer query $stmt with the inner query $stmt3. You've not provided the code for the outer query so i've tried to demonstrate it generally:
SELECT ot.*, rc.id_roster_count
FROM other_table ot
LEFT JOIN
(
SELECT id_member, COUNT(DISTINCT id_roster) AS id_roster_count
FROM dispo GROUP BY id_member
)
AS rc ON ot.id_member = rc.id_member
WHERE ot.other_value > 5
It may be possible to further optimize this. It depends on your other query and table structure.
You can do it by simply extracting all the data in a single query and use group by to format the data and then use the loop to do the desired option.
