How i can extend the Codeigniter library in Pyrocms - php

I want to add some more library and helpers file into Pyrocms which is based on codeigniter.Actually i have to add facebook connect and found some good working examples of facebook connect so now i want to implement these codeingiter libraries and other files in Pyrocms.Let let me know where to put these libraries. Your help will be appreciable.

since version 1.3.0 addons/default/libraries
or addons/shared_addons/libraries for the pro version. (This bit will help on the where to put stuff topic...
http://www.pyrocms.com/docs/1.3/manuals/developers/understanding-the-addons-directory )
Then load the lib in your controller, etc as such $this->load->library('cool_facebook_connect_lib');
And, depending on your version you may have to change around a couple lines in MY_loader for it to work, http://www.pyrocms.com/forums/topics/view/18087

How to add OAuth2 Server on a CakePHP 3 plugin

I am working on a plugin in CakePHP3 and I need to create a simply Oauth 2.0 Server API that allows to do a simple CRUD on the users' table and create sessions when needed.
I have done some research here in StackOverflow and it seems that the best choice would be
https://github.com/uafrica/oauth-server
Now, I have tried to make it work according to the doc in the repository but since it will be a plugin, not the core of the application I do not understand how it is supposed to work and which file I need to update.
Would somebody be so kind to give me the list of steps I need to follow and the actual files that need to be updated?
Many Thanks in advance
The uafrica/oauth-server project is woefully out of date. It requires v4.1 of league/oauth2-server, which is now currently at v7.2. Version 5 of that project was completely rewritten and is not backwards compatible with v4.x.
I don't think there's an out-of-the-box CakePHP 3 plugin that works with the current version of league/oauth2-server.
You'll have to either build your own plugin from scratch, or try to hack the uafrica/oauth-server project to get it work with league/oauth2-server.

Thanks in advance
Make sure your version of CakePHP is compatible with the plugin. I understand between version 1.3 and 2, they took advantage of the newer features of PHP which included strongly-typed method parameters. The error you're receiving is that the SignMeUpComponent inherits from the Component class which is in framework core. If the component wants to override the initialize method, it must follow the same method/function signature.
If the plugin is on Git and you feel comfortable in doing so, clone it and update all the components methods, and then put in a pull request so you're changes can be merged in.
Alternatively use an earlier version of CakePHP.

Using Laravel bundle with CodeIgniter

I want to use Laravel Bootstrapper bundle http://bundles.laravel.com/bundle/bootstrapper with my CodeIgniter application.
How can i utilize autoloader functionality to use Bootstrapper bundle code in CodeIgniter in native PHP 5 fashion.
Button::make('Abc')->with_icon('ok');
Do you suggest to convert Bootstrapper bundle in CodeIgniter library or we can use it as it is.
I am using bootstrap for creating views, thus already including bootstrap specific css, js & images.
Please help, so that the bundle can be used with CodeIgniter
Why? It's not designed to work with CI, you'll probably have to mess about alot to get it working. See one of the many versions available for CI here https://github.com/vesparny/codeigniter-html5boilerplate-twitter-bootstrap.
Further more, I dont see any great advantage of having a bootstrap CI integration, if you do then go for it but I just use my own customised bootstrap and load it in as normal in template/view files. Works just fine and keeps all those UI/view bits and pieces separate for designers/Front-end coders who panic at the sight of php.
All this work trying to keep design, function and layout separate and people go to great effort to ruin it with something like this.

YII Pluggin for Net Beans

Can you please let me know where do I get YII Framework plugin for Netbeans? I tried to search but I couldn't find.
Thank you very much!
The question is why do you need a plugin?
Just include Yii framework path in your project include path and all your functions will be part of autocomplete.
I use Yii with netbeans all the time and never felt the need for one. However there is another IDE, codelobster, who recently launched a plugin for yii, you might check it out but it is not as good as netbeans for advanced users, however good enough for basic usage so you might be interested.
Also for PDT there is plugin adding yii framework support. At the moment functionality is limited to creating new yii-powered project and some useful navigation (controller/action -> view, view -> view (partial render), widget->widgetClass, and some others.
More information you can find at yiiclipse home page.
There isn't one currently. That's why you couldn't find it.
actually it is available here is the link

Codeigniter use Codeigniter models from outside script

There was a great post that applied to CI 1.7.2 about using CI models outside CI. It worked like a charm.
http://codeigniter.com/wiki/Calling_CI_models_from_outside_script/
Then I upgraded to 2.0 and the code written in the above post was no longer applicable. I am having a hard time trying to get this to work in 2.0. The Config.php file is no longer in the libraries folder in addition to the Language.php and Model.php files.
Does anyone have an idea of how to port this to 2.0 ?
I only need the models. I was using them in an incoming email extension to our application and using the CI models that we had written saved a lot of time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .
I have no idea what this package does, or what issues you're having (forgot to say?), but in 2.0 you need to be looking in the "core" directory rather than the "codeigniter" directory.
