I want to include wordpress poll to magento site, fishpig module is integrate with magento site and i've also install wordpress poll, but how we can display wordpress poll functionality to magento frontend, e.g. wordpress poll look and its ajax based functionality and its validation and all things.
I would suggest using a Magento poll module to do this, Fishpig is designed more to display Magento products in a Wordpress page, it's not so strong at displaying Wordpress content in Magento.
You could contact the Fishpig developer (Ben) - help at fishpig dot co dot uk for free advice and/or paid assistance.
please go to
admin/system/configuration/advanced/
and enable Mage_poll

I am creating a Custom Divi Module through a plugin. Our plugin adds a custom settings panel of its own, and then our Divi module utilizes some of the options/settings available in our settings to more quickly build and manage PayPal buttons through Divi.
For example, in our settings you can set up PayPal account ID(s), and then choose the account you want to use when adding a new PayPal button through the Divi module. This is working great, however, when I then update the PayPal account ID value through our plugin settings, it does not take affect unless I go back to that specific module and re-save it. Of course, that's exactly what we're trying to avoid doing.
Is there any way we can force the Divi modules related to our plugin to update? Is this happening because of cache or localstorage maybe..??

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have a magento v 1.7.0.2 and I installed a wordpress as a blog , integrating it with fishpig. Although I installed YARPP plugin in wordpress admin, my related posts are not appearing on post page.
Do you have any thoughts that could point me in the right direction ? Or maybe is there a way to display related posts manually by modifying fishpig templates ?
Thank you.
I'm sorry if my question is not good quality.I have problem when I want to understanding wordpress , I'm new in wordpress, and I want to create some module in wordpress, It's Possible?
ex.
if i want to add module, what must I'm studying in wordpress ?
Joomla usually refers to a module. Writing one in WordPress is considered a plugin. You should start studying the Codex and it will lay what you need to do out for you.
You can find that on the WordPress site at Writing_a_Plugin
WordPress Plugin: A WordPress Plugin is a program, or a set of one or more functions, written in the PHP scripting language, that adds a specific set of features or services to the WordPress weblog, which can be seamlessly integrated with the weblog using access points and methods provided by the WordPress Plugin Application Program Interface (API).
Wishing that WordPress had some new or modified functionality? The first thing to do is to search various WordPress Plugin repositories and sources to see if someone has already created a WordPress Plugin that suits your needs. If not, this article will guide you through the process of creating your own WordPress Plugins.
To develop WP plugins, you must familiar with wordpress hooks and API functions.
You can start learning/exploring from any existing plugins. I had started with "Hello_Dolly" :)
How would I go about creating a hierarchical CMS page in Magento?
I assume from your question that you want to have a tree-like navigation structure for a series of CMS pages? This features comes natively with Magento Enterprise, however you will need to purchase or write a custom extension for Magento Community
Clever CMS is now a paid extension available here https://www.bubbleshop.net/magento-cms-tree.html
There are a number of both free and commercial extensions which might help, and there are probably more than this if you search. I've tried neither so be sure to check the reviews.
CMS page hierarchy is a feature of Magento Commerce (Magento Enterprise Edition). If you use Magento Open Source (Magento Community Edition) — then it is not possible out of the box. You might check this module CMS Pages Navigation Magento 2
Is it possible to use plugins on my blog for WordPress.com? There are some very nice tutorials on how to do this if I have WordPress installed on my own server, but I am using wordpress.com.
Does anyone know if they allow this? It seems like the expected "Plugin" category on my dashboard is missing.
Many thanks,
brett
It already has some plugins built in such as Akismet, but you can not add your own on Wordpress.com (you can't even add other themes and can only use the ones they provide).
Here is a list of the free features. With premium paid for features, you also have the ability to use your own domain name and can customize your CSS (as well as some other stuff).
Wordpress.com doesn't let you install your own plugins.
