URL Rewriteing from dynamic links - php

I'm not sure how to re-write a dynamic url into another kind of dynamic url?
I'm looking to change:
/blog/category.php?catseourl=ExampleCat&pn=1
/blog/category.php?catseourl=ExampleCat&pn=2
/blog/category.php?catseourl=ExampleCatTwo&pn=1
Into:
/blog/category/ExampleCat/1
/blog/category/ExampleCat/2
/blog/category/ExampleCatTwo/1
I've got to this point:
RewriteRule ^blog/category/([^/]*)$ /blog/category.php?catseourl=$1&pn=$1 [L]
But I'm not sure how to add the dynamic changes into the left hand side of the rewrite?

Try this:
RewriteRule ^blog/category/(.+)/([0-9]+)$ /blog/category.php?catseourl=$1&pn=$2 [L]

htaccess multiple parameters rewrite rule

I know this problem is over asked, but couldnt find anything fitting with my problem.
I'm currently creating a website, and my url are like :
www.foo.com/
or www.foo.com/index.php.
They can take 1, 2 ,or three different parameters like
www.foo.com/index.php?page=Home&lang=en&article=1
What i'd like is an url like
www.foo.com/Home/
or www.foo.com/en/Home
or www.foo.com/Article/1
or www.foo.com/en/Article/1
The page parameter is required, other two are not..
I cant have anything working for me... Any help would be greately appreciated

Better to have separate clean rules. Put this code in your DOCUMENT_ROOT/.htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/?$ /index.php?page=$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^([a-z]{2})/([^/]+)/?$ /index.php?page=$2&lang=$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^([a-z]{2})/([^/]+)/([0-9]+)/?$ /index.php?page=$2&lang=$1&article=$3 [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/([0-9]+)/?$ /index.php?page=$1&article=$2 [L,QSA]

Try something like this
RewriteRule ^([a-z0-9_-]+)/([a-z0-9_-]+)/([a-z0-9_-]+)\.html$ index.php?param1=$1&param2=$2&param3=$3

should be re-written to
domain.com/?w=12&h=3

I've tried using htaccess to change the result of the url and then retrieve the value from the URL, could someone help me out?

Maybe you need to escape - like:
RewriteRule ^([a-z]{2,2})/([a-zA-Z0-9_\-]+)$ index.php?w=$1&h=$2 [QSA]
PS. I hope the above URL /12/3 is just for example because your regex accepts only a-z

Essentially, I'm pretty sure you need a / in front of index.php

Try changing your rewriterule to the following:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^([a-z0-9]{2})/([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)$ /index.php?w=$1&h=$2 [QSA]
Your example has two digits as the first parts of the path, which won't be matched by [a-z].

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*)/(.*)$ index.php?w=$1&h=$2 [QSA]

php how to replace ?page=1 to 1

I'm just wondering how other websites replace there get variable.
example:

replaced:
http://www.example.com/page/1

PHP dynamic DB page rewrite URL

Need help with mod_rewrite

My current code is
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?pg=$1 [L,QSA]
index.php?action=product shop.com/product
index.php?action=product/add shop.com/product/add
Now I want to add paging to some of the pages, something like
index.php?action=product&page=1&show=20 shop.com/product/1/20
index.php?action=product/add&page=1&show=20 shop.com/product/add/1/20
How do I do this?

What would be the apache rewrite url to extract the id number (434376) from this url?

something like

Well if the / is optional it probably should be:
RewriteRule ^questions/([0-9]+)/?([A-Za-z0-9-]+)?/?$ post.php?post_id=$1 [NC,L]
