I m using Yii framework and I want to upload video directly to you tube from my website. For that,i have used
http://yii.hugphp.com/wiki/375/youtube-api-v2-0-browser-based-uploading/
Using this i am able to upload the video but it is giving the private access to uploaded video.I am able to play the uploaded video but anyone else can not view that video.
How can i make the video available publicly?
If you followed the file names in the tutorial, remove $video->setVideoPrivate(); in video.php

Is there any way to upload images using blogger API? (https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/using)
I have a web developer who is going through trouble to integrate Blogger API for uploading images to my site. I thought if I could be of any help at all to him.
Normally using Picasa the images upload to googleusercontent like this :
Link to a picasa image
But what I want is for it to be uploaded to this :
Link to a image uploaded from Blogger post
The developer is using PHP. I tried searching many sites but with no luck for a working version.
Any help is appreciated thanks.
The images uploaded to Blogger directly via the website (having the URL format of x.bp.blogspot.com) are also saved on Picasa behind the scenes.
The domains used by these images (like lh3.googleusercontent.com, 3.bp.blogspot.com ,1.bp.blogspot.com,2.bp.blogspot.com,4.bp.blogspot.com) are interchangeable in nature and all of them serve the same image.
For example, the image that is using the googleusercontent URL (For testing purpose, I uploaded an image using the Official Blogger Android app) -
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VESDEmEh7EM/WpCZ_8qD_wI/AAAAAAAAYs0/XDWkxkEz7EUrGUBmpTSEKBGiynGrEKOygCHMYCw/s640/1519426035853.jpg
Can also be accessed by using bp.blogspot.com URLs, like -
https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VESDEmEh7EM/WpCZ_8qD_wI/AAAAAAAAYs0/XDWkxkEz7EUrGUBmpTSEKBGiynGrEKOygCHMYCw/s640/1519426035853.jpg
If you still want to exclusively use the x.bp.blogspot.com format URLs for images in the Blog post, you can write a custom logic in your PHP application to replace all references of lh3.googleusercontent.com (that you got after uploading the images via Picasa API) with x.bp.blogspot.com URLs before creating the post via the API)
Is there a jQuery plugin that could generate video preview thumbnails even before user uploads it? I notice that Facebook could do so but do not know any plugin that has the same functionality.
Try uploading a video on facebook, notice that even before you publish it or the progress bar is still in progress, preview images of the video are available already.
I tried searching the net and most answers pertain to installing ffmpeg having this as a reference.
I haven't tried it yet but looking into it, it seems that the video should be uploaded first before it could generate a thumbnail. But I what I want is a preview of the thumbnail to be generate BEFORE the video is uploaded (similar to facebook).
This is so that I have the transaction to select a video and generate a preview thumbnail at the same time even before the video is published on the server. Once I hit the "publish" button, it will upload the video to the server, upload/save generated preview thumbnail, save info to database at the same time.
I don't think you have to download a video and make its thumbnail. You can make a request via Facebook API to get it. You just have to precise that you want the attribute "picture" in the result; this attribute contains the path of the thumbnail of the video. You will find more explanation by following this link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.1/video/
i have a joomla 3.0 component for movies sales (PICSELL) but i want to add an option where i can choose to upload movies using (Custom URL to upload movie and Images) the component already has file manager where to upload movies, images, prices, movie type (zip file or flv) and i want to add an option to it so that ones i put the url it will call both video and image from my server due to uploading problems and internet connection problem by uploading from file manager.while adding the URL option other information should be same in the file manager.so the option button will be shown ontop of the file manager to choose between uploading via file manager or via URL

I have suggest yendif player
Usually I have a video file field where I upload the video and configure display to be open with JWPlayer. It then opens as JWPlayer when I output it in the template (node.tpl.php)
But now the problem is that in some cases, I'll get a link like
http://www.mytest.com/videos/myvideo.mp4
which I want to play in JWPlayer too. Is it possible that I can play a video link directly in JWPlayer?
Thanks.
