I try to ger property names with next code:

$data = json_decode(file_get_contents($path));
$properties=get_object_vars($data);
foreach($properties as $propName){

}
but as result I get:

Array
when I need:
'ver'
'sb'
'ld'
'hd'

If you don't need the resulting output as an object, you coud use the array version of json_decode
$data = json_decode(file_get_contents($path), true);
$properties = array_keys($data);
you can also try using json_decode to give you an associative array
$path='./datafiles/jsonTest.json';
$data = json_decode(file_get_contents($path),true);
foreach($data as $name => $value){
echo $name.'<br>';
}
Have you tried the key?
foreach($properties as $key => $propName){
echo $key.'<br>';
}
You can either use reflection to get the properties names (http://php.net/manual/en/reflectionclass.getproperties.php) - which would be the elegant way - or you decide not to decode the Json data and extract the names and values with manual string operations.

As you say, the string you have is in JSON format, so you need to use json_decode to access it in PHP.
The square brackets refer to an array, and the braces refer to an object within that array, so what you're looking for is the id value of the first element (i.e. element 0) in the array.
<?php
$json = '[{"id":1}]';
$data = json_decode($json);
echo $data[0]->id;
// 1
Try this
$json_array = '[{"id":1}]';
$data = json_decode($json_array);
print_r($data); // To display the result array
You just need to decode it, if I'm not misunderstanding your questions.
$json = '[{"id":1}]';
$decodedObject = json_decode($json);
Then you can loop through the aray and do something with your data:
foreach($decodedObject as $key => $value) {
$id = $value->id;
}
If you're using Laravel, though, why not use Eloquent models?
Hello I have decoded a json string that I sent to my server and Im trying to get the values from him.
My problem is that I cant get the values from the inner arrays.
This is my code:

From looking at the result of $response['array'], it looks like $array is actually this
[['exercise' => 'foo', 'reps' => 'foo']]
that is, an associative array nested within a numeric one. You should probably do some value checking before blindly assigning values but in the interest of brevity...
$exercise = $array[0]['exercise'];
Because of the [{...}] you are getting an array in an array when you decode your array key.
So:
$exercise = $array['exercise'];
Should be:
$exercise = $array[0]['exercise'];

I've have this list of products in JSON that needs to be decoded:
"[{"productId":"epIJp9","name":"Product A","amount":"5","identifier":"242"},{"productId":"a93fHL","name":"Product B","amount":"2","identifier":"985"}]"
After I decode it in PHP with json_decode(), I have no idea what kind of structure the output is. I assumed that it would be an array, but after I ask for count() it says its "0". How can I loop through this data so that I get the attributes of each product on the list.

To convert json to an array use
json_decode($json, true);
You can use json_decode() It will convert your json into array.
e.g,
$json_array = json_decode($your_json_data); // convert to object array
$json_array = json_decode($your_json_data, true); // convert to array
Then you can loop array variable like,
foreach($json_array as $json){
echo $json['key']; // you can access your key value like this if result is array
echo $json->key; // you can access your key value like this if result is object
}

one more approach that you can try is to decode the json in to array instead of objects.
$json_output = json_decode($json,true);
By passing a varaible as true in the json_decode() function you will get the json_output as an array which can be easily traversed.
Else
you can loop through
foreach ($json_output->results as $object){
echo "{$object->title}\n";
}

Using json_decode(), array_map() and json_encode() should be easy enough:
function strip_arguments( $item){
$new_result = array(
'Id' => $item['Id'],
'Name' => $item['Name'],
)
return $new_result;
}
$array = json_decode( $input);
$array = array_map( 'strip_arguments', $array);
$input = json_encode( $array);
You of course may use unset() inside strip_arguments (instead of creating new array) but this will make sure any "new attribute" won't make it trough.
You can use return array(...) instead of declaring variable and chain operations to: json_encode(array_map( 'strip_arguments', json_decode( $input))); too :)
Using PHP's JSON's tools you can convert the JSON string into an array, from here use a simple foreach statement and REGEX to delete array entries.
Once this is done simply convert back into a JSON string using PHP functions and do with it as you please :-)
The functions I am thinking off are - json_decode, json_encode.
