How to configure Phalcon in the Nginx config file - php

I am trying to set up an NGINx server to work with Phalcon PHP Framework.
So far I've been looking for help on the internet but I could not find anything...
My conf file is:

Just copy and paste the same config into a new file
Name it the same as the subdomain you want it to run on
Give the path to the folder
Add the new subdomain to the hosts file
Restart nginx
Create 2 more servers in nginx. The first for /api (listen en 8080 for example), the other for /web (on 8081). Your main serveur (on 80/443) is then a proxy on the others :

nginx trying to specify different locations not the main root

I have a config that handles different "websites" a main root handles the requests for the main url and I specify a specific path for it, in another location /mailtracker I handle a different app and point it to a different directory. My problem is php-fpm is not finding this second location.
Basically I want to have several locations pointing to different roots.

I tryied specifying instead of $document_root the path to the alias /var/www/sites/mailtracker/web/ and it didn't work.
Output from the php-fpm to this config says:

Put location /mailtracker above location / because nginx matched route /mailtracker for / before checking /mailtracker
You can remove location ~ \.php$ inside location /mailtracker

my codeigniter folder is 'ci' which is located in /var/www/html/ci
what configuration do I need to work url rewriting?...
I didn't want to change the current document root (/var/www/html)
since my 'ci' folder is located at /var/www/html/ci.
So instead, I created a new location block in /etc/nginx/conf.d/default.conf:

This one also work:

Change your root to root /var/www/html/ci
Change your try_files to try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?/$request_uri;
Be sure your fpm path (unix:/var/run/php-fpm/php-fpm.sock;) is correct.

Nginx server (not showing changes) - Delete cache?

I'm running a Laravel Site (Ubuntu) on Nginx (Not a virtual box). When I make changes to a css file, or any file for that matter i'm unable to see the changes right away. I've tried changing sendfile from on to off as noted in this link:
How to clear the cache of nginx?
And I couldn't find a Nginx cache file to delete the cache. Many sites recommend going to the "path/to/cache" folder but I can't find it:

Anyway I don't believe I set up any kind of proxy caching or anything. Any ideas where I can find my cache so I can delete it folks? For that matter am I looking to do the correct thing here? Thanks for you answer in advance.

First, css is something that the client caches, not the server. You should clear your browser's cache to see your css changes. Furthermore, browser caching is a common problem in css and javascript development. Luckily, you can take advantage of elixir, which ships with laravel 5.1, to prevent browsers caching your assets.

Nginx - rewrite or internal redirection cycle

Im using nginx with a very simple configuration, it works for all php sites in the subdirs of /usr/share/nginx/www/.
But now id like to make a new project in a subdirectory with rewrite rules.
So i decide to make a .conf for this beside the default.
But the rewriting is not working cause of the error "rewrite or internal redirection cycle".

This part about fall back to 404 is wrong. Probably you have missed =404 here, which resulted in redirection cycle (it redirects to /index.html again and again).
Please note from the documentation:
If none of the files were found, an internal redirect to the uri specified in the last parameter is made.
