Is really close. Unfortunately the problem seems to be that the relative file links don't work when using xyz.com/info/productname/
See the difference between:
http://xyz.com/info/swoosh
and
http://xyz.com/info/swoosh/
The second one doesn't work because relative links are broken.
Take out leading slash from regex
Take out R=302
Add QSA
Make sure request is not for a file.directory

first, i'm trying to find an answer to this like 3 nights :) If there's answer of this, i couldn't find or understand.
My question is simple:
I want to split get parameters with slashes. And use this globally in my script.
in htaccess, i wrote this;

but this blocks (or sth like that) css files. when browser loads page, css file links looks normal but browser can't reach them (because of htaccess gets directories as parameters)

Make sure both your rules look like this. Conditions only work for the first rewrite rule following them.

Also use absolute paths for your CSS files or put a / before the file path.

It checks if the files already exist (eg the CSS files) and therefore won't try to rewrite or redirect them.

It looks like your stuff is all in the wrong order. Some things:
If you don't have an L flag for a rewrite, the rules after will continue to process the rewritten request. So you want to use the L flag.
Rewrite conditions only apply to the immediately following rule, so you've got a condition that's just dangling somewhere and not being used.
The show_users.php rules will never work the way you've set things up, the regex pattern is the same, so no matter what, your requests will always go to show_staff.php.
Your rules aren't in the right order, two things need to happen if I'm guessing what you're trying to do. You need to match against a request with a php extension and externally redirect the browser, then you need to internally rewrite that request back to the URI with a php extension.
So something like:

Unlike most htaccess requests, where I can simply use the following code to grab the entire URL.

What I need to do, is add paging without the use of a directory ( /page/# ) in the address. So unlike /page/# in the url, the paging is just adding a dash and a number at the end of the url, such as " -3 for page three, etc.
I've tried several rewrite Rules, but I don't believe I understand apache rewriting well enough because my regular use of paging, doesn't work when applying a catchall expression.

So.. something like

1. Two separate rules to deal with URL with and without trailing slash. It will only rewrite requests to non-existing files/folder thus preventing rewrite loop you are having:

i want the URI to always have a ending trail because ill use redirects with ../
and if it doesnt have slash it messes everything up if it has a slash it works fine. I tried to look at some examples online but i couldnt really get anything to work heres my current .htaccess file

Anubhava's got the basic answer and I modded him up. You need to send an HTTP redirect to get the browser to request the URL with the / at the end.
