I've been using session_start() fine with my other PHP files. Now however, I am trying to put functions into one file and then be able to call them from various other PHP files.
I simply have this in one file:
<?php require("CustomerFunctions.php");
start_session();
PrintCustomerTable();
?>
However I am getting Fatal error: Call to undefined function start_session()
Again, I am able to use start_session everywhere else in my files but now for some reason it won't work in this file. It has the same result even if I remove the require.

The function you're looking for is called session_start().

I'm learning PHP POO and I'm having trouble using the variables to the META TITLE and DESCRIPTION. I've checked all the topics related but couldn't find an example close to my problem.
Here's the part of the code concerned :
$model_Article = new Model_Article($db);
$contenuArticle = $model_Article->StockageDonneesById($id);
// die(var_dump($contenuArticle));
$affichage = new View_Article($contenuArticle->title(),$contenuArticle->description());
$affichage->setContenuArticle($contenuArticle);
$affichage->head();
$affichage->nav();
$affichage->genererArticle();
$affichage->foot();
The variables $contenuArticle->title()and $contenuArticle->description() are supposed to generate TITLE and DESCRIPTION metas, but they send back the error Fatal error: Call to a member function title() on array
Var_dump show that the Array isn't empty and return the right content.
I'm pretty sure it's a common error but I'm lacking experience to point it. Let me know if I can provide more specific intels on my files.
Using var_dump($contenuArticle) shows the return of $model_Article->StockageDonneesById($id) is an array, with 1 element.
changing line 6 to:
$affichage = new View_Article($contenuArticle[0]->title(),$contenuArticle[0]->description());

I am using laravel 5.3 to build an a page but after specifying a route and using it in a browser, the following error appears
"Use of undefined constant strah - assumed 'strah' (View: C:\wamp64\www\admin\resources\views\strah\layout.blade.php)".
I have created a layout.blade.php file and has the following line which i think is the root cause
#include(strah.header.header)
Do I have any wrong syntax?
What can I do to get it running?
Route::get('/dashboard',function() {
return view('strah.layout');
});
You have to enclose the include value within quotes. Try :
#include('strah.header.header')
Change
#include(strah.header.header)
to
#include("strah.header.header")

I am trying to create an image that changes dependent on the genre grabbed from an icecast server, I am pretty sure I have the base code correct I think I've just incorrectly inputted the PHP variable.
<?php
$stats = $core->radioInfo( "http://http://sc.onlyhabbo.net:8124/status-json.xsl" );
?>
<img src=http://www.habbo.com/habbo-imaging/avatarimage?user=<?php
echo $stats['genre'];
?>&action=std&direction=2&head_direction=2&gesture=sml&size=m&img_format=gif/>
is the full code. Have I inputted the PHP variable incorrectly
Where are the quotes in your Html?
<img src="http://www.habbo.com/habbo-imaging/avatarimage?user=<?php
echo $stats['genre'];
?>&action=std&direction=2&head_direction=2&gesture=sml&size=m&img_format=gif"/>
UPDATE EVERYBODY
This is now resolved, I decided to go down the CURL route for this, and at first it didn't work until my host raised our CloudLinux Process Limit. I am unsure what the actual issue with this code was, but the CURL route works fine. Thank you for any answers

The title says it all. What would be the most performance-friendly way to delete a file? Using PHP's unlink()-function, or PHP's delete()-function?
There is no delete function to delete files. As the documentation states:
This is a dummy manual entry to satisfy those people who are looking for unlink() or unset() in the wrong place.
The links on that page will lead you to the correct function for deleting a variable (unset) or deleting a file (unlink).

gettng the below even though the file is quotes is the file I am using and the line is the exact line of the actual function declaration ?
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sortByTest() (previously declared in ."file"... line .."123"
It just means you're including that file twice. The first time it is included, everything is fine. The next time it is included, PHP goes through the file again, gets to the "function sortByTest(...)" declaration and it goes BOOM because it already had the function defined in memory.
To solve this, change the part where you're including the file to one of:
include_once "..."
or
require_once "..."
I recommend require_once if it is not a view template file.
