I am trying to create a table in a php script and I am getting an SQL error. I can't find it or figure out how to fix it. I do have $table defined earlier in the script. Thanks in advance!

try this, it works

I am trying to create a table in a database in phpMyAdmin and I keep getting the "a symbol name was expected" error and I cannot figure out what is going on. Is my syntax wrong? I am new to this and I'm at a loss.
Column names, table names should be surrounded by backticks(``)

You used ' ' sign in your column properties. But mySQL allow you to use `` sign.

I'm getting this error:

I have done this by checking if table exists in php, on false create a new table
creating table would be best to export an already existing one with phpmyadmin and then just use it as query syntax
Take the single quotes off of your table and row names
also if you make the id a primary key auto-increment, do not make it not null, this will cause a error.

One of your field names is a MySQL reserved words create. Try changing the field name to something like created. See MySQL Keywords and Reserved Words
You also have an extra comma after the primary key definition.

You can also echo mysqli_error if it fails so you can see details of the error.
I have two tables such as Employee and DeletedEmployee.
What I need is while am deleting data in employee table, that specific data must be move to deletedemployee table.

You can use ActiveRecord::afterDelete(). Since the current object has not yet been destroyed you can get the required fields. Assuming you have a model DeletedEmployee you can do the following in your Employee model:

The trigger , as the name suggests can be used to initiate some action when some event occurs like for eg : Insert,Update,Delete,etc.

My server is on hostgator running on a linux centOS.
I'm simply trying to create a table within my database and I figured out how to get the table to get created. Although when I add the AUTO_INCREMENT setting the code doesn't execute and the table isn't created.
Why would this be and how can I correct it?
Here is my code:

To use AUTO_INCREMENT you may have to assign the column as a primary key:
