I am newbie in Prestashop. I use Prestashop 1.6x. Whenever I put my Prestashop site on server most of the text are not display such as CART, Quick view ,Buy now etc.
Here is the Image which describe the actual situation.
(Yes, My Prestashop site working fine on localhost).
Those are texts popping out on hover only, correct? It would be great to be able to examine the real site. But the issue might be there, in how text is managed once you hover on an element. As the product name is there before hovering as well

I have a WordPress site where I am using a purchasaed template and woocommerce for the shop. The problem is on the shop page the right bar gets pushed down. When I enquired about this issue from the developers of the template I was told to purchase shop beginner kit for the problem to fix.
That doesn't make sense to me, there must be a way to put the right bar properly to the right on the shop page when it is working fine on the other pages by editing either the PHP or CSS.
I tried editing the quick css, however, all it did was from the bar from left side to right side, however, it still stayed below.
Would appreciate any direction that someone can give as to which php to edit and how to go about it, my WordPress knowledge is at beginners level.
The page in questions would be
http://needlestosaymore.com/product-category/house-warmers/
one needs to edit archive-product.php page accordingly to make the changes which is found in the woocommerce plugin folder
I'm trying to get on developing websites on Wordpress for easier management for the future admins.
I have created a bootstrap theme on my own. I got all the pages smoothly into Wordpress and are now easy to edit. However I have this one page which has tables, buttons, glyphicons and once I click the "graphic" view while editing the page it breaks it.
So I was thinking that that won't do and I decided to create a new plugin to fix this problem. A simple plugin which has few textboxes on the admin settings page and then just prints the texts on the page where I want them to go.
However I tried to look for tutorials and I'm just overwhelmed. I have gotten my plugin to work somewhat. It has a admin setup page and it can print customized text to a page where my shortcode is. Thanks to this post!
However, I still don't know what to do from this point on.
My question is: Could you help me by giving me an example code to get the same kind of textbox to my plugin's admin page as I have while editing/adding new pages (with graphic view) which saves the text and displays it on a page.
I have no idea if this is the way to go but I can't think of anything else right now. I was thinking that the settings page has a couple of textboxes and the text in them goes where I want it to go on a page. So the future admin won't see the unnecessary html code and therefore can't break it.
I would abandon the "plugin" idea. There are several more elegant ways to do this besides writing a plugin.
By far the easiest to implement is this:
1. Store the html in a "Custom Field" https://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields
2. Display the contents in your page (or post) template https://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields#Displaying_Custom_Fields
I'm using magento and have tried refreshing indexes, clearing cache etc.
However, something weird is happening. Magento is displaying blank pages for Categories. There is a link on the page, because I can click on it, but it is not visible. There is also an H1 tag. However there is no product image, no text for the product link etc.
Its almost like magento cant find the CSS for the center of the page. Also I notice there is a long number before the CSS file e.g. /media/css/39328749837294823.css
Im wondering if anyone knows why this might be?
Cheers

I am having problems trying to figure out how exactly i can edit a simple page of the website. I didn't initially create it so i am given the task of trying to understand someones code. So the problem is... i am trying to change the simple font colour on the front home page, but i cannot even find the CSS file on magento or Wordpress so i'm kind of confused. I want to change the white font colour to black.
Do i just log in with FTP and edit the pages manually on there? Please give me some information on how i can go about editing any pages at all.
Wordpress
Wordpress have /wp-content/themes/ for a directory which stores all instaled themes (downloaded or created by you). You can edit everything of a theme there. The default stylesheet file in wp's /wp-content/themes/[yourtheme]/style.css. Attention: this CSS file can import another from somewhere else.
Finding the style
You can find the ids and classes statements just positioning the mouse over the element that you want to discover what is influencing it, right button click and select Inspect Element if in Chrome or Mozilla. An add-on to help is Web Developer.

#edit Yes, you can edit via FPT or SSH connection ;P
In wordpress you should check in settings->reading what the front page is set to and css changes can be done in the theme folder wp-content/themes/theme_name/ and for magento the css is usually in /skin/frontend/package/theme/css. or somewhere close depending on the template.
I am new to Word Press and I have been assigned to change something at work in our homepage.
I am always worked with raw HTML/CSS/php files, so I am a bit out of place here.
The page in question is the following: GAN Integrity Solutions Products
Inspecting the html I found where the CSS is (in the theme folder).
If I go in word press under pages, and I choose Products (which is the page I want) there is not content in it even in the text or visual editor. (but the page does indeed have content)
I installed the plugin called "Always edit in HTML" but it only removes the Visual tab and does not really replace it with the HTML tab (like I have seen a friend of mine has).
Also I am currently using WP v. 3.7.1 and I have not update because I still had to learn what happens when one updates (does it screw up my site? I can't afford to screw it up).
Anyone have any idea of what I am doing wrong or how I can solve this?
Btw the different "products" are created individually under "Portfolio" but what I would like to edit is that first link page html. What I need to do is instead of having pictures in the "squares" and then text as ones mouse over them, the reverse.
I would appreciate it!
Can you try to login in Wordpress?
You should go to pages and search for the product page.
Then check the template part.
Go to your themes map again and search for that template.
Your code should be there.
This is my first comment. Hope it is helpfull.
