I need to change the label of Shipment Addresses to Shipment address. I am using VM2 for this site. I have searched in all language files. But I cant find any HTML code or Language file text. I have also activated IceVMcart module. I really need to deliver this site soon. Where can I edit this label?
The output is overridden, please check:
templates/*your_template/html/com_virtuemart/cart/default_pricelist.php
*your_template = your active template name
The default value is: <?php echo JText::_ ('COM_VIRTUEMART_USER_FORM_SHIPTO_LBL'); ?>
You could create a language override for this variable using:
Extensions -> Language Manager -> Overrides
Good Luck!
I have found the solution
I have edited 'en-GB.com_virtuemart.ini' in public_html/administrator/language/en-GB. All I needed to do was to change the COM_VIRTUEMART_USER_FORM_SHIPTO_LBL Label -> 'Shipment Address'. Thanks everyone for help.

I would like to customize the color of specific email templates.
I'm happy with the basic email templates for simple and variable products on my Woocommerce store (https://snag.gy/tmwv7q.jpg). However, I'm setting up subscriptions using the Woocommerce Subscription extension and would like to change the color palette on select email notifications (just those linked to the Subscriptions extension).
I believe that this snippet of code may be used to change the background color, for instance, in my child theme's functions file. However, this would change all the templates:
<?php
add_filter( 'woocommerce_email_styles', 'custom_woocommerce_email_styles' );
function custom_woocommerce_email_styles( $css ) {
$css .= "#template_header { background-color: #4f7acc; }";
return $css;
}
How would I change the coloring for select email templates only? At the very least, the "base color". (From # ed1e24 to #4f7acc).
(I know the text domain for the Subscriptions extension is 'woocommerce-subscriptions'. Not sure if that helps as the correct argument needed.)
If anyone could please guide me I'd appreciate it.
You can override the default WooCommerce email templates by placing files with the equivalent name in your child theme directory.
Example
To override the new order email template
1) Copy this file: woocommerce/templates/emails/admin-new-order.php
2) Paste it in your child theme directory as such: YOUR-CHILD-THEME/woocommerce/emails/admin-new-order.php.
3) Make desired edits in child theme file.
There reason that I haven't provided you with specific directions as to how you may change the subscription email, is due to the fact that it's a paid extension, and I don't have access to it. If the templates may likely be located in the plugins directory, in which case you would need to search in that location for the file and directory names.
How can I place a default text (hashtag) in the Custom Message?
The textarea is (located in line 643) under jetpack/modules/publicize/ui.php
I tried to put the text in front of $title in various ways, like:
<?php echo "#myhashtag $title"; ?>
or
<?php echo '#myhashtag '.$title; ?>
but it just echoes the text, not the $title.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
You can use the approach of this Wordpress plugin i made (Publicize With Hashtags), which does exactly that. It basically use and action trigger bound to the 'save_post' native event.
If you want to develop your own one you can have a look at my Source Code on the project's GitHub page or in this installation & usage guide I wrote about it.
You can add a filter, like so, to your theme's functions.php or a site-specific plugin:
add_filter( 'wpas_default_prefix', 'add_default_publicize_hashtag_prefix', 10, 4 );
function add_default_publicize_hashtag_prefix() {
$default_tags = '#yourhastaghere ';
return $default_tags;
}
This will add your default hashtag before your title without you needing to hack the WordPress core.
jetpack/modules/publicize/ui.php itself states in its comments:
/**
* Only user facing pieces of Publicize are found here.
*/
You added your hashtag in the textarea which allows admins to enter a custom message (click edit and it will slide down with your hashtag).
As #Yazmin mentioned, the best way to permanently edit the message is using a filter. The filters available are wpas_default_prefix, wpas_default_message, and wpas_default_suffix.
Personally, I had no success using these filters and I'm interested in a working solution to this issue myself.
My question: Is there any way of showing the visitor's IP address in the title of a page on Wordpress? What I've done so far is this: My IP Lookup.
Is there any plugin or a tweak that I can do to?
Here's the file: Header.php
Please help!!
I'm the author of the theme and its framework. I'm just going to modify the code that Matthew gave you a bit. For future updates to the theme and framework, it's better if you can avoid actually editing header.php in your Child theme, but instead utilize the framework's hook system:
http://www.wpjumpstart.com/tutorial/primary-framework-action-hooks/
themeblvd_title is one of the framework's actions. It has a default function already hooked onto it that displays the title the way you see it now. What you want to do is fairly easy because you're not actually modifying that default function, but instead just adding onto the action.
If the concept of action hooks in general is completely foreign to you, definitely check out this article -- www.wpjumpstart.com/tutorial/actions/ -- Understanding these basic WordPress development concepts is really going to expand what you're going to be able to do moving forward with your customizations.
So to accomplish what Mathew said, you'd do the following from the functions.php of your Child theme:
function my_title_addon() {
if (is_page(10)) { //Check if we are on the correct page
echo '|'; //Just a spacer between the default title and your addition
do_shortcode('[shortcode]');
}
}
add_action( 'themeblvd_title', 'my_title_addon' );
There's also one big thing to note here, as well. I noticed on your site, you're using Alyeska 2.0. You should update to the latest version Alyeska 2.1 posted last week on ThemeForest, which incorporates v2.1 of the framework. Inside is a new sample child theme that incorporates a slightly modified structure, as outlined in this video -- vimeo.com/41331677
If you do not use this new child theme structure, the above code I posted will add your IP shortcode to the start of themeblvd_title, which isn't what you want. If you elect to keep your current theme version and Child theme structure, the above add_action needs to have a priority higher than the default 10 like this:
function my_title_addon() {
if (is_page(10)) { //Check if we are on the correct page
echo '|'; //Just a spacer between the default title and your addition
do_shortcode('[shortcode]');
}
}
add_action( 'themeblvd_title', 'my_title_addon', 11 ); // Higher priority so it comes after default title function
Here is how you can use a filter hook to modify the title.
Add this in a theme functions.php file or one of your own plugins:
add_filter( 'wp_title', 'add_ip_to_title', 10, 3 );
function add_ip_to_title($title, $sep = '', $location = '') {
return $title . $sep . "visitor IP info here";
}
https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_Reference/wp_title
Edit your header.php file in your theme. That is where the tag is generated. It should be wp-content/themes/alyeska-child/header.php or if it isn't there wp-content/themes/alyeska/header.php.
If you post the code that is generating your title (or your header.php file if you can't tell), we can tell you where to add it specifically.
If the IP info is generated via a shortcode, you can use do_shortcode('[shortcode]) in your PHP to run the shortcode directly with PHP.
If you wanted to do this on just one page, you would have to detect the correct page and conditionalize the change to the title. You need to know a page identifyer for the page you want, but you would use something like:
<title>
<?php
themeblvd_title();
if (is_page(10)) { //Check if we are on the correct page
echo '|'; //Just a spacer between the default title and your addtion
do_shortcode('[shortcode]');
}
?>
</title>

To add to some of the other answers, to get their IP address, it could vary a little bit depending upon your server environment. Just make a file called test.php and put it in a web accessible place:
<?php
echo phpinfo();
?>
Then, look for a place where you can retrieve the user's IP address. If your PHP is running in a reverse proxy, unfortunately, the normal place will just have localhost's IP. But there are a lot of other environmental variables you can grab the IP from. Here are the places to check:
"Apache Environment" or "HTTP Headers Information" or under the "PHP Variables" section.
Then, if you see the real IP address (compare the address shown on the info page with what you might get from whatismyip.com) then you can access that value in the function described above by drew010 using one of PHP's predefined variables.
I want to theme the page /cart/checkout/complete
I already saw the settings in admin/store/settings/checkout/settings, but they are not enough.
I want to add some HTML i.e. add a print button at the top of the page.
I would like to have a .tpl.php file to use as template, or otherwise, using an alternate checkout page, how to insert the texts defined in checkout settings.
I tried to make a uc_cart_complete_sale.tpl.php but it isn't called.
Thank you in advance.
According to the Template Suggestion documentation you can provide a custom page.tpl.php for absolutely any path, so a template file with the following name would override page.tpl.php for the path cart/checkout/complete:
page--cart--checkout--complete.tpl.php
Be sure to clear Drupal's cache once you've create the file so the changes are picked up in the theme registry.
After hard work, i found the template page.
It is:
page--cart--checkout--complete.tpl.php
remember to clear the cache
firstly, you should probably check this page: admin/store/settings/checkout/edit/messages
there you can customize a header for the message displayed when the checkout completes.
other than that, you can implement some functions to alter this page. from a short look in the ubercart api maybe this function will do: my_module_checkout_complete() in this link the guy says it worked
another function that should work is theme_uc_cart_complete_sale
there are other options, such as in your template.php check if this is /checkout/complete and do whatever you want. like this:
if (arg(0) == 'cart' && arg(1) == 'checkout' && arg(2) == 'complete')
and than redirect to your page. anyway, there are plenty of ways to accomplish this, but just naming a file 'uc_cart_complete_sale.tpl.php' won't work. sorry...
In D6 at least, you can theme the message by overriding theme_uc_cart_complete_sale() - so if that's what you're after, theme the message by overriding that in your theme (for example, function mytheme_uc_cart_complete_sale($message, $order) {}
I have the following problem:
I use taxonomys (tx) as tags. They can be added when the node is created. So I don't know how many tx I have or what ID they have.
The path of the tx is like the following:
/foo/element1
/foo/element2
/foo/element3
...
The secound element is the tx.
Now I want to use a view (page) to handle the tx-path:
/foo/%
The problem is, when I open a path like the one on top I see the theme of the node-taxonomy.tpl.php but not the style I set in the view.
Whenever I open a path in the form (/foo/not-a-tx) I can see the output of the view.
Could someone give me a hint how to get out the view output but not the tx-output?
Thanks
Sebastian
I solved the problem with this way:
I use a view block (not a page)
I added a new output area in my ,info file
I use this way to show only the vocab
I show the block in the new area online bei foo/*
It works Okay for me.
Thx to every one.
Do you want to get rid of the taxonomy pages completely?
If so, you can use a hook_menu_alter() and unset the taxonomy page.
EX.
hook_menu_alter(&$items) {
unset($items['taxonomy/term/%taxonomy_term']);
}
You'd have to look at the $items array to pinpoint the name of the registered menu path, but I think this is it.
This will remove the taxonomy page for all vocabularies however.
Actually you need to make a view to override the internal drupal path of the taxonomy term page: taxonomy/term/% (where % is the taxonomy id) and not the aliased path, which in your case is foo/%
[Optional but saves work: There is already an example view that is bundled with Drupal that implements the taxonomy view. Go to Views > List and you will see the the view is greyed out and it is called
Default Node view: taxonomy_term (default)
All you need to do is enable it and modify it to your needs]
Don't worry about the aliases. You can define your URL pattern at /admin/build/path/pathauto (make sure pathauto module is enabled. You can download it at http://drupal.org/project/pathauto ). In your case the pattern would be foo/[cat] where [cat] is a token for category. Make sure you enter this pattern under Taxonomy Term paths in the pathauto automated alias settings.
