I tried solutions in other answers like uninstall services but it doesn't work.

I had XAMPP on my device but I have to uninstall it now my project does not run on localhost

XAMPP has some error about ports I uninstall it but did not back up any information and now my project does not run on local host is there any way for me to restore my old project or I have to do it again on new XAMPP? another problem is after reinstalling XAMPP windows do not know PHP what should I do?
by the way I am a very beginner in this :)))
So, I will try to explain this:
Websites (i.e. with PHP) need a webserver. For example when you go to stackoverflow.com, you automatically call a webserver who then compiles the PHP scripts on the server to HTML code.
This principe does also apply to your local installation.
When you call localhost, you basically call yourself as the webserver. XAMPP is a tool that can "simulate" a webserver on your PC, thats why PHP sites do not work without it, because your browser doesn't know what to do with PHP code, it only understands HTML.
If you install XAMPP again you should be able to get it running.
If you have any questions/problems with the XAMPP installation, feel free to ask again.

Windows 10 uninstall Mamp - cannot find C:\MAMP\unins000.exe

Short backstory: Recently I've installed MAMP as I want to start learning PHP. I got version 4.1.1 from the MAMP homepage, Apache didn't start. This seems to be a common bug for that version, I found a solution in downloading version 4.1.0. Both servers started but the Open WebStart Page didn't work.
My Problem: I wanted to try reinstalling it, I deleted the MAMP folder, as I thought that would be sufficient, instead of deleting it in the system settings. Now when I download it again and start the installer it says
MAMP setup has detected existing MAMP installation. You need to remove existing installation before proceeding. Do you want to uninstall it now?
Clicking either yes or no gives me
MAMP setup will now exit and the existing MAMP installation will not be removed.
In the system settings I find
MAMP & MAMP PRO 4.1.0 version 4.1.0 (1.47 GB)
When trying to uninstall it it gives me this error
Windows cannot find 'C:\MAMP\unins000.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Is there any way, other than reinstalling my whole OS, to solve this problem or do I have to turn to a different web server app?
I just encountered this problem and I hope my solution works for you as well:
Just download the .exe file into another device and install the MAMP.
After a successful installation, just copy the folder to your original device that has the problem.
And then you should find a file with a name starting with "uni" meaning it is for uninstallation. Just run that file and then everything should be fine!
I had the same problem (on OS is windows 10).
I browse the web and found a way:
You can download the ccleaner and use it, it can delete the MAMP.

Wamp Server 2.5 (PHP5.5) Cant activate sqlsrv module

I just updated my Wamp Server and got a problem now.
My SQLSRV extension wont get loaded correctly.
I dont know where the problem is exactly because i dont get any errors on startup. Also the error log is clean. There is just a little red triangle instead of a check in the php extension list:
Some Information:
Windows Server 2012 x64
Wamp 2.5 32BIT
PHP5.5
The Warning Icon means one of 2 things :-
Either the extension= line is in your php.ini but the dll it points to is not in your \ext folder
Or the dll exists in the ext folder but not in your php.ini
Which one is it in your case. If you updated WAMPServer the SQLServer dll does not come with any PHP install by default, so you will have to download it from the microsoft site.
hmm, i still cant understand this error. sure i know that i have to download the SQL driver manually. And i know only the "SQLSRV31.EXE" driver is working with Win Server 2K12. I downloaded this one and copied all php5.5 drivers into the /ext folder. Then i copied the name of the dll`s and added them to the php.ini:

I will tryout installing the older wamp version with php5.4 included. May this will work =)
I also experienced the same thing happened to you. I tried many things but didn't work at all. I installed all the things required for Wamp like Microsoft visual basics 2012 but it still didn't worked.
This is the most important thing, for me this problem happened because i download wamp server 2.5 from the official wamp server site. http://www.wampserver.com/Mk
DON'T DO IT. it's totally a shit. then i download wamp server 2.4(old version) from this site called FIRE HORSE. this is the link http://www.filehorse.com/download-wampserver-32/
I downloaded and installed wamp server 2.4 from this site and it worked perfectly fine. and i also installed the latest Joomla version 3.4.5 in wamp server. Now i'm using it 100% fine. Many thanks for FIRE HORSE site.
I hope you all will find this useful and don't forget to tell me if i'm wrong because i'm still in learning progress i just shared my experience with you all. thank you.

Localhost not displaying same components as in the server

Okay so a few days ago I had my localhost running off of Wamp to where the files I was working on were connected to my server (through bitbucket to where I can use git in aptana) and everything was working fine (whatever displayed on my localhost off of Wamp server displayed on my bluehost server of course when everything was up to date).
I had to re-install Wamp and I cloned my project again from bitbuckit into my www directory (through aptana) to where my localhost would be connected to my server again and also imported the database to where the setup should be exactly as on the server.
This time when I go to my localhost on my computer to display the components/webpages it doesn't display everything. It only displays the background of my pages and components being used on all across the entire site.
Since everything on the localhost is exactly the same as server (code and database) it should display like it does on the server.
What could be causing this?
Are there configurations in Wamp that could be causing components to not display?
I have re-installed Wamp multiple times as well as trying this on Xampp and the same thing is happening.
Any help will be much appreciated!
So it turns out that the Wamp/Xampp version I was installing (which were the new versions) had php versions which wasn't compatible with the php version that is off of bluehost server (which is currently at 5.2.17).
So I installed Xampp version 1.7.1 (which supports php version 5.2.8).
And now my local is working exactly as my server...EVERYTHING is displaying as it should!

PHP wamp server error

I am pretty new on php particularly wamp. I got to access a live wamp server. PHP version 5.2.5. But my app needs to use PHP 5.3.0, so I just uninstall wamp from live server and install new wamp with PHP 5.3.0. Now the new installed server is not getting started. On starting it gives error that
php_pdo.dll file was not found. RE-installing app could fix problem.
Also the icon is still yellow. I want to know what the problem is with server and how this fix? Also is there some thing because of previously installed wamp server?
Pleas do tell me as it was live server so I need to fix things as quickly as possible.
Having PHP 5.3 you no longer need to have to activate PDO through the php.ini file. That means you're good to go using PDO natively.
This step is not necessary for PHP 5.3
and above, as a DLL is no longer
required for PDO.
http://www.php.net/manual/en/pdo.installation.php
It means that you didn't load the PDO extension. Do a right click on the WAMP icon in your task bar and under PHP menu enable the PDO extension. Restart wamp and the problem should be solved.
Click on the wamp server icon on your taskbar, go to Apache and you will find Test Port 80 in there. That will show whether port 80 is available or not. If not, go to httpd.conf file which is in the Apache menu of wamp server, find line Listen 80. Change 80 to 88. Restart All Services in wamp and that should work. Let me know if that helped.
