I want to upload a very large csv file into database,i.e, the size of the csv file will be more than 1 GB. I want to upload all data from csv file to mysql table as quick as possible. Please suggest me tha is it possible or not?
And i want to use JQuery/Ajax for doing this job?
Webservers have a max-execution time and a max-upload-size in php.ini. You probably need to edit these settings. I would recommend to use a chunked upload function.
Here is a nice upload lib that supports chunked upload with jQuery + PHP it's called: plupload

I want to change image size before uploaded on server/mysql database, As its for member, so member can uploaded big images in size and i want to prevent and assign a new image size of their images.
I need it in PHP.
Thanks
Resizing an image in php without uploading first is not possible as php only runs on the server side. It can be done with js though, there are a lot of libraries that can help you out, like Jimp, Jcrop and Processing.js.
If you really want it in php than the image has to be uploaded first and than you will be able the resize the image with imagecopyresized function for example.
The php manual has an example here

Background
I'm creating a website where the user can store an article as a file in the database and than upload the file's content into a page in the website using a form. The file may only contain text or image or both.
Question
Can anyone walk me through this?
I would suggest you to create a database table having fields having the userId, and path of the file.
The file uploaded should be saved in the Web Server, and its path need to be saved in the database.
The vice-versa should be done while retrieving the file content.

It might be a strange question but I am asked if it is possible and I don't know the answer.
In Windows it is possible to add details to a file, like an author and labels etc.
Is there any way in PHP I can read these details when this file is uploaded to the server (our client would like to use it to tag files on their server).
That information you mention it's called metadata.
You can use this php library to do the trick.
http://getid3.sourceforge.net/
Out of the box functionality doesn't pass this information when uploading files using PHP.
The documentation for $_FILES shows all of the details you can get about the file

I want to send the doc and pdf file to the MySQL database using php from my android application.
I have no idea about it. What shoud i write in android and php file?
Please guide me if anyone have code?
Thanking you.
You have two options:
1) Store it in a field with a BLOB data type. I really do not advise this in any way and is only listed as the first option because it pertains directly to your question.
SO has good coverage of this already Storing files in SQL Server
2) Move the file to a folder and store the file path. This is the preferred option by mmmm everyone. Use move_uploaded_file and if you are unsure of how to setup an html form take a look at W3C PHP File Upload

I want to create a form inside a PHP file that will allow me to type in a couple text fields and then upload those fields to certain tables/columns in my database. I can figure this out, but another option I want is to upload a song and upload an image to my webserver and then retrieve the link and upload those links to the database..
Does anyone know of a good tutorial for this?
You can find information on the php page.
Here is the link for upolading files information.
