I have a website based on PrestaShop 1.6. For some unknown reason the Module page in the backend is loading very slowly, in about 2-3 minutes. All the other pages in the backend load fast.
Do you have any ideas how to handle this issue?
Sorry, I can`t see bigger image. Lets go to prestashop/config/defines.inc file. Search for word: PROFILLING and enable it. Now refresh that page and you may see all information about loading. And you will find that bastard who is loading 2-3 minutes ;)
There is a know issue of slow a backend in prestashop 1.6. Here is the fix: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/7e891c594e3cc8b48aea0a57ed674189abc19493. It will be merged in version 1.6.1.2

I am experiencing problems with my website. I updated my web page, and it looks the same as before. My site is not showing the changes I uploaded.
I have tried many ways to fix this issue, but no help.
The following are some steps that I followed, but nothing worked for my website.
Force browser to reload or clear cache
Clear WordPress cache with the help of cache plugins
Clear cache from Hostinger hosting cache manager
Used different device/computer
Restart modem/router
Used a different device browser but no help.
Flushed my computer's DNS
Used Google Public DNS
What else do I need to do to resolve this problem? I have been experiencing this issue for 10 days now.
I would greatly appreciate help with advice on what to do to resolve this issue.
Thanks!
You can also try the following ways
The first way:
If you use WordPress speed boosts such as Rocket, Total Cache, etc., disable them and do your updates again.
The second way:
Disable your site template and enable a default WordPress template and retest.
The third way:
Change your WordPress to a newer or older version and get tested.
The fourth way:
Disable WordPress plugins one by one and get tested at every step.
I've come to this site after much research. After updating my wordpress site to 5.0.2 yesterday many different issues have risen on my site. I've been developing websites for the past six years and just recently (one week ago) moved to wordpress. I have been using this plugin known as WPBakery Page Builder to create my pages due to its ease and simplicity. My site has over 100 pages and the page builder really helps me with importing templates and different slides easily into multiple pages.
After updating Wordpress to the newest version, a new built-in page builder was added. This page builder is raw code and does not show any of my templates previously in WPBakery. As well as, it removed all my WPBakery templates. Every page now shows nothing in WPBakery and I'm trying to figure out how to restore all of this information.
I have tried restoring the older version of wordpress which did not work, currently I'm installing the latest back-up which was three days ago but its very outdated and is 5GB so is going to take all day. Other issues that have risen with this update include many icons disappearing (turned into blank squares) as well as a lot of random code has appeared throughout the site.
I have not touched the footer since creating the website and right after the wordpress update it turned to this:
new-footer
From this: old-footer
I understand how this site works and I probably won't receive any help but I have no where else to turn and if anyone can please help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Installing Classic Editor has fixed the issue! WPBakery templates are now back and the random code found throughout the website has disappeared.

I have a Wordpress website, that is loading extremely slow.
http://shop.fertan.bg
The issue is that the website sits ideal for long time before beginning to load the webpage. I am unable to isolate the issue, as I used same theme and plugins (and few other extra plugins) on my other website,
http://52.57.164.181/
This page is loading extremely smooth and fast.
Has anyone had the same issue before? and help me understand this!
I have a strange issue, I am building a custom magento theme, and all of a sudden, my custom page/catalogsearch/form.mini.phtml file isnt loading and its now loading the base/default one instead?
All my other theme files are loading correctly, and I have emptied the cache multiple times. I have tried altering my version of the file, but that doesnt make a difference either.
Can anyone think of anything to try? It's like something is telling it to override any other version and only use the original base version.
Running 1.9.2.4
Thanks.
I'm an idiot - my FTP app wasnt showing the current live verison... I logged back in and noticed my template had vanished. Re-added, altered and voila!
HELP PLEASE! When upgrading my Joomla 2.5.24 to 3.3, the process hung. Now I get the WSOD and get into the administrator (front end does not work either) with error:
ADMINISTRATOR:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JAdministrator::setHeader() in /home/.... /libraries/cms/html/behavior.php on line 712
FRONTEND:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JHtml::getJSObject() in /home/..... /libraries/cms/html/behavior.php on line 271
I did a backup up all databases and the files prior to update, but the problem is not resolved when restoring either. I have spent all day trying to figure this out, and I don't know how to debug the setheader(). Can anyone please help me?
First of all, get you site back up.
Since you have a backup, that's going to be "easy".
a. Download a copy of Joomla 3.3, extract the files, and run
find
to get the list of files in Joomla 3.3.
b. Now delete all of those files from your current installation, and restore the backup on top.
There are files that Joomla 3.3 adds that will break Joomla 2.5.
c. Restore the database, and your old site will be working again.
Now the tough part. Figure out what's wrong.
Make an off-line copy of your website.
Are you in the "I'm feeling lucky" mood? Run the update and follow the instructions below.
Do you want to minimize the headaches or you're not comfortable with typing shell commands? First update all your third party extensions to their latest version, and make sure they support Joomla 3.3.
You must have some third party extension that's breaking the site. Here's my quick and dirty procedure to identifying the culprit (but don't share it, it's a secret):
Is it a module, a plugin or a component?
If the WSOD is on both the frontend and backend, it should be a plugin.
Is it a plugin? Rename the plugins folder "plugins2". If the site loads, rename it back to plugins, cd to it, and rename in turn system, content etc. until you find where it is. Keep digging down to the last level and isolate the plugin.
Is it a module? Rename the modules folder and see if the site loads. If it does, go back and rename the folders of the modules you are using in turn. In case you don't know which ones you're using, move them away a few at a time using wildcards to be quicker
Is it a component? Then it's the homepage component and the other pages should load fine.
Once you have identified the culprit, download an update, and apply it manually (open the zip and copy the files where they belong).
You might have to do this multiple times for each broken extension. Remember Murphy's law.
