Rows Into Columns Queries MySql - php

I have this table:

and I am using this query to filter the data:

and this is the result:

But now I need to show the data in this way:
CODE WEEK M F
abc 1 1 1
abc 2 1 0
So I have this query:

`WEEK`,`CODE`,
GROUP_CONCAT(if(`SEX` = "F", `cnt`, NULL)) AS "F",
GROUP_CONCAT(if(`SEX` = "M", `cnt`, NULL)) AS "M"

How can I combine this 2 queries? Is there a better way to do this?

I'm not sure why you were doing that strange ORDER BY, and I was pretty sure you would want to group on CODE as well. (Edit: Yes, the CAST was appropriate for the data type of week.)

I have a Ranking board for the best first 100 blogs for each gender Males and Females.
I have a blogs table:

I have a users table:

I need to COUNT best ranks (using MAX(blogs_score) and MAX(blogs_score_time)) for each user from Blogs table and INSERT/UPDATE the Users table with the best ranks for the first 100 users of each gender with highest ranks, so the result should be:

11 2 m
23 1 m
51 2 f
88 1 f
The Best Ranks supposed to be for each gender.
The final idea is to show the Rank position in user's profile and once someone voted (blogs_score changes in the blogs table), the best_rank column in the users table must be updated with the new ranks recalculation for ALL 100 users who has the best ranks in particular gender group.
How to adapt and fix this (not working) query to my needs?

To come up with your desired results I would use the following:

I don't know how you want to use the date field, but would row_number with a partition do what you need to do?

I have a mysql query of type
select some_value FROM table WHERE (subquery) IN ( values )
which seems to be extremly slow!
I have a mysql table with orders and a second one with the corresponding processing states of them. I want now to show all orders having their last status code = 1 .

It takes roughly 15 seconds to process this for a single order. How to modify the mysql statement in order to speed the query procession time up?

in this situation I think you could simply forget of order, as all information stays in state.

Maybe would be possible to change your CRUD by putting last state directly in order table too, this would be the better

My question: In my sql query I have: "AND category =2". So why I get record id=5 (it has category= 1) in my output?

The conditions in the WHERE clause are not properly organized. Add parentheses to group the conditions that you want. I guess LIKE '%My%' should be grouped.

Many-to-many relationship select and order by

I have a many-to-many relationship between two tables: person and favorites. I have three columns:
person_id int(8)
favorites_id int(8)
is_main_favorite enum('y','n')

I'm using PHP and MySQL.
How I can retrieve person_id that have (favorite_id 1 and 2 together) and order the result by person id that have more is_main_favorite ='y', so the result should be as:
person_id
1 (because he has favorite_id 1 and 2 and have two is_main_favorite = 'y')
2 (because he has favorite_id 1 and 2 and have one is_main_favorite = 'y')

How it works
First, the favorites table is joined to the persons table twice, each as it's own table (one and two). Then, both favorite_ids are checked to see if they exist. If they are both present, the row is included in the result set, and sorted by the count of is_main_favorite (2 if two "y", 1 if one "y", or 0).

Fetch range from days

I have this table structure:

with 'category-day' as unique keys. I would extract a range of dates, for each category, according with column "a" and given limit range, like so:

I search the best way for do it. Using only mysql preferably but also with a little bit of php.
NOTE1: not all day are inserted: between two days non-contiguos could not be other days. In this case I would in output the missed range with column "a" = 0.
NOTE2: I did it with a simple query and some rows of php but I don't like it because my simple algorithm need a cycle for each day in range multiplied for each category found. If range is too big and there are too much categories, that's not so good.
FINAL EDIT: OK! After reading all comments and answers, I think not exists a valid, efficient and, at same time, readable solution. So Mosty Mostacho answer is a no 100% valid solution, but it has 100% valid suggestions. Thank you all.

As I told you in a comment, I strongly recommend you to use the quick query and then process the missing dates in PHP as that would be faster and more readable:

Note that MySQL won't allow you to create data on the fly, unless you hardcode UNIONS, for example. This is an expensive process that's why I strongly suggest you to create a table with only an integer field with values from 1 to X, where X is, at least the maximum amount of dates that separate the min(day) and max(day) from your table. If you're not sure about that date, just add 100,000 numbers and you'll be able to generate range periods for over 200 years. In the previous query, this table is seq and the column it has is val.

DISCLAIMER: I did this just for fun. This stunt may be too crazy to be used in a production environment. Therefore I'm not posting this as a "real" solution. Also I'm not willing to explain how it works :) And I didn't rethink / refactor it. There might be more elegant ways and names / aliases could be more informative. So please no flame or anything.

To make this work as you want it to, you should have two tables:
for periods
for days
Where each period can have many days related to it through FOREIGN KEY. With current table structure, the best you can do is to detect the continuous periods on PHP side.
Firstly, this is an extension of #Mosty's solution.
To enable Mosty's solution to include category/date combinations than do not exist in the table I took the following approach -
Start by getting a distinct list of categories and then join this to the entire date range -
SELECT category, `start` + INTERVAL id DAY AS `day`
FROM dummy,(SELECT DISTINCT category FROM t) cats, (SELECT MIN(day) `start`, MAX(day) `end` FROM t) tmp
WHERE id <= DATEDIFF(`end`, `start`)
ORDER BY category, `day`
The above query builds the full date range using the table dummy with a single field id. The id field contains 0,1,2,3,.... - it needs to have enough values to cover every day in the required date range. This can then be joined back to the original table to create a complete list of all categories for all dates and the appropriate value for a -

If I understand your question correctly, I would use something to the effect of:
SELECT MAX(day), MIN(day) FROM `YourTable` WHERE `category`= $cat AND `A`= $increment;
... and ...
$dateRange = $cat.","."$min"."|"."$max".",".$increment;
