PHP mail form problems? - php

sorry if this seems like a silly question but I'm really stuck.
I'm using a form with php to allow users to send mail from my website and everything works fine except when you want to add more than one 'item', 'amount' and 'boxeach' to the form.
The script I use does duplicate the items but keeps them with the same name, which means that my php will only read and send one of them in the email. Is there any way to change that so all of those three elements are put in the email, with one appearing under the other?

When you click $("#copy) you create a div with information,that rewrites the privous one.
What you can do is to make a hidden input which will be outside of the #content div since you are rewriting it's html.

And on click when you create a div also append the information to your hidden input:

Then in php you will get $_POST["name_string"] which will be like "name1,name2,name3,". You can use explode function in php to create and array from this string:
$array = explode(",", $_POST["name_string"]);

The problem you're having is that you're not making an array of the elements to store multiple values. Your script is just recreating a div. So the simple solution is that add "[]" to your amount, itmes and boxeach elements. i.e

<select name="boxeach[]">...</select>
Than in your php code change these lines from
$amount = $_POST['amount'];
$items = $_POST['items'];
$boxeach = $_POST['boxeach'];
to
$amount = implode(',',$_POST['amount']);
$items = implode(',',$_POST['items']);
$boxeach = implode(',',$_POST['boxeach']);
or manipulate the posted array in what ever way you like.

How do I add PHP validation to my contact for

I made a website using css, html, javascript and a little php. I have it hosted on a hosting site with a domain name, but I'm having issue with the server side validation for the form.
It's just a simple contact form:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Message (textarea)
Submit button
I have javascript validation and it works fine. The form won't submit at all unless the correct amount of characters are input, but obviously that's useless if the user has js disabled. I've also finally gotten the form to email to my personal email using php... But obviously I need server side validation as well.
Today was my first day really getting into php and I was hoping to have the php validation done by today, but of all the videos I watched, I just came away more confused. All I want to do is just make it so that if the user has javascript disabled for whatever reason, or if he leaves the fields blank, the form won't submit...
Anyeay, I was working on this all day today with the intention of getting the form to send to my email, I finally accomplished that. Then realized I had no server side validation. I spent a few hours researching it and attempting it to no avail. Can anyone here just give me the php validation code for the kind of form I described above? It's for my business website so the sooner I can have a working contact form on it, the better...

How to validate captcha field code?

I am trying to validate a captcha code field so if the code they enter is correct it will take them to a thank you page with the download link, but if the security code they entered is incorrect then they will see a sorry message and to return back to previous page.
The issue I am facing is when I enter the captcha into this field and click submit the data is always no.

You can't mix JavaScript and PHP like that. The PHP will be parsed on the served before the page is served up to the user. Including it inside of your JavaScript else block will have no effect, since the code will be run when the page is generated anyway.
You should look into the use of AJAX.

Hide html form after submission?

I have an HTML form that posts to a php script that then emails me the forms contents.
I'm also using javascript form validation and some jquery ajax so that the page doesn't reload.

Form submitting with jQuery and sending with PHP.. Can't work out why its not sending

Console is not showing any errors, neither is Firebug so I'm at a loss as to why this isn't working.
My form:

Console reports no PHP issues and Firebug (I am new at using this, so I might have skipped something?) reports no issues...?
What am I doing wrong?
Don't use the .click handler when using an input type of submit. Switch it to
g("#sendEmail").submit(function(){
Then see if when you click submit you invoke the JS as expected.
On a side note, you can reduce the amount of code that you write by serializing your form data with $(FORM ID or CLASS).serialize()

your js code is not called because you added submit button, when hit on that it will submit the form without waiting for a click event to be fired so either you change the button to click and then submit the form from click event or you can use submit an event
