Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_DB_mysqli_result::fetch() - php

public function getVoters($limit = 5)
{
$db = $this->load->database("cms", true);
$year = date('Y');
$month = date('n');
$res = $this->db->query("SELECT account, counter FROM votecounter WHERE year=$year AND month=$month ORDER BY counter DESC LIMIT 5");
$x = 1;
while ($arr = $res->fetch())
{
$accid = $arr['account'];
$res2 = $DB->prepare("SELECT `displayName` FROM `account_data` WHERE `id` = :acc LIMIT 1;");
$res2->bindParam(':acc', $accid, PDO::PARAM_STR);
$res2->execute();
$arr2 = $res2->fetch();
echo '
<li>
<p>', $x ,'</p>
', $arr2['displayName'] ,'
<span>', $arr['counter'] ,' <i>Votes</i></span>
</li>';
$x++;
unset($res2, $arr2, $accid);
}
unset($res, $x);
}
This used to work on a PHP site I had, however I changed to a new website built with Smarty/Codeigniter and this error has been showing up and I have 0 idea how to fix it.
Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_DB_mysqli_result::fetch()
Any help would be appreciated..

When I'm not mistaken there's no fetch() function in codeigniter.
So maybe use result_array() instead.

Warning: Undefined property: Joomla\CMS\Object\CMSObject::$playid in D:\xampp\htdocs\joomla4\components\com_football\tmpl\team\default.php on line 120

So I am building a Joomla component which will be like a football league manager. In the DB I have a table with #__football_team and #__football_player in which I am trying to display the players on the team. When trying to pull and assign in the model view using:
if (isset($this->_item->playid) && $this->_item->playid != '') {
if (is_object($this->_item->playid)) {
$this->_item->playid = ArrayHelper::fromObject($this->_item->playid);
}
$values = (is_array($this->_item->playid)) ? $this->_item->playid : explode(',',$this->_item->playid);
$textValue = array();
foreach ($values as $value) {
$db = Factory::getDbo();
$query = "SELECT *
FROM #__football_players
WHERE `active` = '1'
AND #__football_team.teamid LIKE '" . $value . "'";
$db->setQuery($query);
$results = $db->loadObject();
if ($results) {
$textValue[] = $results->lname;
}
}
$this->_item->playid = !empty($textValue) ? implode(', ', $textValue) : $this->_item->playid;
}
return $this->_item;
}
But I keep getting an error that the property is undefined:
Warning: Undefined property: Joomla\CMS\Object\CMSObject::$playid in D:\xampp\htdocs\joomla4\components\com_football\tmpl\team\default.php on line 120

sqlite3 replacement for sqlite_has_more

First of thank you for your help.
The code piece "while (sqlite_has_more($dres))" is using sqlite2 and I need sqlite3. If there isn't a replacement for has_more is there another code I can use to still Find whether or not more rows are available?
F.Y.I. The server updated their stuff which included their sqlite and now I have to fix this last peice of code to get the schedule to populate and not give me this error.
Fatal error: Non-static method SQLite3::open() cannot be called statically in /home/server/public_html/current-list.php on line 57

Set Parameter with TableGateway Select Function show error undefined variable

i create a function in my model like :
public function getAllMenuByOnlyActionPage($actionlot){
$act = trim($actionlot);
$result = $this->tableGateway->select(function (Select $select) {
$select->where(array('status != ?' => 13))
->where(array('action' => $act))
->order('id ASC');
});
$results = array();
foreach ($result as $row) {
$results[] = $row;
}
return $results;
}
When i try to execute then its show me Notice: Undefined variable: act. I already see this link ZF2 tableGateway select but i want to set parameter for this function. Thanks
Try
$result = $this->tableGateway->select(function (Select $select) use ($act) {
$select->where(array('status != ?' => 13))
->where(array('action' => $act))
->order('id ASC');
});

MySQL two selects but totally different

ok I have to tables they are along the same lines, but one that lists all stores that sell goods and one that is products that we sell.
Think of it like Fruit and Veg totally different.
What I need to work out is if there is 7 fruit and we need 8 listings then go and get a random veg and show it in the same results.
Here is what our query currently looks like. you will notice we can send a $count which we send as 8 but we may want to increase to 10 or even make it 4.
public function realcashoffers($state,$count)
{
$this->state = $state;
$this->number = $count;
//print count($this->JSONselect("business_stores","*",NULL,NULL),1);
print $this->JSONselect("approved_business, business_stores, Real_Cash_Offers"," *, group_concat(offer ORDER BY offer ASC SEPARATOR ',') as offers"," approved_business.id = business_stores.business_id AND Real_Cash_Offers.business_id = approved_business.id AND Real_Cash_Offers.storeid = business_stores.storeid AND business_stores.state = '{$this->state}'","GROUP BY id ORDER BY RAND(), approved_business.id DESC LIMIT {$this->number} ");
}
this->JSONselect goes to
//JSON select
public function JSONselect($table,$options,$where,$orderby)
{
$options = empty($options) ? "*" : $options;
$where = empty($where) ? "1=1" : $where;
$orderby = empty($orderby) ? "" : $orderby;
$qry = "SELECT $options FROM $table WHERE $where $orderby ";
//print $qry;
$result = mysql_query($qry) or die(json_encode(array("error",mysql_error())));
while(($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result))){ $resultArray[] = $row; }
//print json_encode($resultArray);
return count($resultArray) < 1 ? print "[".json_encode(array("error"=>"sorry"))."]" : json_encode($resultArray);
}
If I understand correctly I think what your looking for is something along the lines of this;
Update the main function to determine if there were enough results and call the secondary query if not
public function realcashoffers($state,$count)
{
$this->state = $state;
$this->number = $count;
$result = $this->JSONselect("approved_business, business_stores, Real_Cash_Offers"," *, group_concat(offer ORDER BY offer ASC SEPARATOR ',') as offers"," approved_business.id = business_stores.business_id AND Real_Cash_Offers.business_id = approved_business.id AND Real_Cash_Offers.storeid = business_stores.storeid AND business_stores.state = '{$this->state}'","GROUP BY id ORDER BY RAND(), approved_business.id DESC LIMIT {$this->number} ");
$remaining = count($result) - $count;
if ($remaining) {
$result = array_merge($result, $this->JSONselect(.. enter secondary call here using $remaining as the limit..);
}
$this->JSONprint($result);
}
Update JSONselect to return the results instead of being responsible for printing them as well
public function JSONselect($table,$options,$where,$orderby)
{
$resultArray = array();
$options = empty($options) ? "*" : $options;
$where = empty($where) ? "1=1" : $where;
$orderby = empty($orderby) ? "" : $orderby;
$qry = "SELECT $options FROM $table WHERE $where $orderby ";
//print $qry;
$result = mysql_query($qry) or die(json_encode(array("error",mysql_error())));
while(($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result))){ $resultArray[] = $row; }
//print json_encode($resultArray);
return $resultArray;
}
create JSONprint that will print the results returned
protected function JSONprint($resultArray) {
return count($resultArray) < 1 ? print "[".json_encode(array("error"=>"sorry"))."]" : json_encode($resultArray);
}

select max codeigniter

Im trying to get an max value with codeigniter from an table but it isnt working. This is the error i get:
Severity: 4096
Message: Object of class CI_DB_mysql_result could not be converted to
string
Filename: database/DB_active_rec.php
Line Number: 427
This is my function:
public function getPeriodeNummer($bedrijf_id) {
$this->db->select_max('id');
$this->db->where('bedrijf_id', $bedrijf_id);
$result = $this->db->get('rapporten');
$this->db->select('periode_nummer');
$this->db->where('rapporten_id', $result);
$query = $this->db->get('statistieken_onderhoud');
$data = $query + 1;
return $data;
}
What im trying to do is as followed:
Select the highest id where bedrijf_id = $bedrijf_id from rapporten.
Select the periode_nummer from statistieken_onderhoud where rapporten_id = the highest id i got from step 1.
Add 1 to the periode_nummer i got from step 2 and return that number.
Thanks in forward for your help!
Try
public function getPeriodeNummer($bedrijf_id) {
$this->db->select_max('id');
$this->db->where('bedrijf_id', $bedrijf_id);
$res1 = $this->db->get('rapporten');
if ($res1->num_rows() > 0)
{
$res2 = $res1->result_array();
$result = $res2[0]['id'];
$this->db->select('periode_nummer');
$this->db->where('rapporten_id', $result);
$query = $this->db->get('statistieken_onderhoud');
if ($query->num_rows() > 0)
{
$row = $query->result_array();
$data['query'] = 1 + $row[0]['periode_nummer'];
}
return $data['query'];
}
return NULL;
}
Try this:
$this->db->select_max('display_sequence');
$this->db->from('acl_menu');
$query = $this->db->get();
$r=$query->result();
Display Sequence is your column name & acl_menu is your table name.
You can't use an object as a string. Use this:
public function getPeriodeNummer($bedrijf_id) {
$this->db->select_max('id');
$this->db->where('bedrijf_id', $bedrijf_id);
$result = $this->db->get('rapporten');
$this->db->select('periode_nummer');
$this->db->where('rapporten_id', $result);
$query = $this->db->get('statistieken_onderhoud');
// fetch first row in object
$result = $query->row();
$data = $result + 1;
return $data;
}
$this->db->select_max('id', 'max_id');
$query = $this->db->get('video_processing');
return $query->row();
try the above:
I think the $query variable is holding a mysql result resource and it cannot be used as a String or in this case an Integer.
You could try this way:
$data = mysql_result($query,0) + 1;
Shortest:
$this->db->select_max('id', 'max_id')->get('video_processing')->row();
