CSS popup doesn't carry PHP variable - php

I'm building a website with a CSS popup inside a loop that increments by 1, but the variable $i does not carry on the popup.
CSS
#cover {
position: fixed;
top: 0;
left: 0;
background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.6);
z-index: 5;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
display: none;
}
#score {
height: 380px;
min-width: 280px;
max-width: 380px;
margin: 0 auto;
position: relative;
z-index: 10;
display: none;
background: url(login.png) no-repeat;
border: 5px solid #cccccc;
border-radius: 10px;
}
#score:target,
#score:target + #cover {
display: block;
opacity: 2;
}
.cancel {
display: block;
position: absolute;
top: 3px;
right: 2px;
background: rgb(245, 245, 245);
color: black;
height: 30px;
width: 35px;
font-size: 30px;
text-decoration: none;
text-align: center;
font-weight: bold;
}
.popup {
position: fixed;
left: 50%;
top: 20%;
}
.popup .wrapper {
position: relative;
left: -50%;
}
PHP
<?php $loopvalue = 3; $i=1; while ($i <= $loopvalue) {?>
<li>open popup <?php echo $i;?></li>
<div class="popup">
<div class="wrapper">
<div id="score" style="background-color:#FFF;">
popup # <?php echo $i;?>
×
</div>
<div id="cover" >
</div>
</div>
</div>
The popup number $i never changes. It freezes on 1. I'm not sure what's the problem. I don't see any, but I can't make the popup number change.

In your codes you have repeated the score div with same id. it need to have different ids for different divs
(This will only create proper html. for popup effect it needs to use some java script/JQuery codes)
Try this
<?php $loopvalue = 3; $i=1; while ($i <= $loopvalue) {?>
<li>open popup <?php echo $i;?></li>
<div class="popup">
<div class="wrapper">
<div id="score<?php echo $i;?>" style="background-color:#FFF;">
popup # <?php echo $i;?>
×
</div>
<div id="cover" > </div>
</div>
</div>
<?php $i++;}?>

How we can put a corner ribbon on a dropdown section?

On my website exercise I need to put a corner ribbon on a dropdown section.
I have a button, with a dropdown section inside, and I want to put a ribbon for a promotion.
But my ribbon still bellow my div and not on my bottom right hand corner
My HTML code is the following :
<div>
<a class="dropdown-item" href="<?php echo $href_brown ?>">
<?php
if (($current_language !== "/de") && ($promotion)){
echo "<div class=\"corner-ribbon-buy-button\"><span>$20 off</span></div>";
}
?>
first product
<br>
<?php
if (($current_language !== "/de") && ($promotion)){
echo "<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> Starting at
<span style=\"text-decoration:line-through;\">$149</span> $129 </span>";
}
?>
</a>
And my CSS is code is :
.corner-ribbon-buy-button {
-webkit-transition: 200s linear;
transition: 200ms linear;
position: relative;
// left: 0px;
top: 0;
z-index: 1;
overflow: hidden;
width: 91px;
height: 91px;
text-align: right;
line-height: 50px;
}
.corner-ribbon-buy-button span {
font-size: 12px;
color: #fff;
text-transform: uppercase;
text-align: center;
line-height: 30px;
transform: rotate(-45deg);
-webkit-transform: rotate(-45deg);
display: block;
background: #0070c9;
position: relative;
top: 25px;
z-index: 1;
}
How can I put my ribbon at the bottom right hand corner of my dropdown div please ?
Here is a simple example
#main {
position:relative;
height: 100px;
width: 50px;
background-color: #999;
}
.ribbon{
height: 24px;
width: 24px;
background-color: red;
bottom: 0;
right: 0;
position: absolute;
}
<div id="main" >
<div class="ribbon"></div>
</div>

Footer overlapping only one page

The footer is overlapping one of my webpage. all the others pages are fine but this one its overlapping, i dont really want to edit/update the footer as it is working in other pages, but I would like to see if there is something I can do with the css container for this page.

width: 100%;
height: auto;
margin-top: 20px;
position:relative;
padding-right:0.4%;

left: 0;
width: 80%;
height: 100px;
border: 1px solid;
margin-bottom: 2px;
position: relative;
float: left;
}
CSS footer/body etc
html,
body {
margin:0 auto;
padding: 0;
max-width: 960px;
height: 100%;
background-color: white;
}
#container {
min-height:100%;
position:relative;
}
#header {
background:white;
padding:10px;
}
#body {
padding:10px;
padding-bottom:40px; /* Height of the footer */
}
#footer {
position: absolute;
bottom:0;
left: 0;
right: 0;
height:40px; /* Height of the footer */
background:#EBEBEB;
border-radius: 5px;
}
PHP/HTML
for($temp = 1; $temp <= $cArray[2]; $temp++)
{
$img .= "<div class='boxChildLeft'>
<div class='img'>
<img src='../ProductImages/$cArray[0].jpg' width='100px' height='100px'>
</div>
<div class='prodInfo'>
<p1>$pName</p1><br>
<span id='sp'><p1>$pPrice<p1>
</span>
</div>
</div>";
}
HTML
<div id="box">
<?php echo $img;?>
</div>

dompdf - set page margin only after first page

I am converting an HTML to pdf file using dompdf. It is working fine. But the problem is that I need to have page margin for all the pages except the first page. The first page should have an image covering the whole page. But now the margin is coming for all pages including the first one.
I am not able to disable margin for the first page. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Below is my css
<style type="text/css">
body { margin: 0px; }
#page { margin: 50px; }
#header {
position: fixed;
left: 0px;
top: -52px;
height: 50px;
border-bottom: 2px solid #797979;
margin: 0;
}
#footer {
position: fixed;
left: 0px;
bottom: -52px;
height: 50px;
border-top: 2px solid #797979;
margin: 0;
}
#footer .page:after { content: counter(page); }
.firstpage {
position: absolute;
page-break-after: always;
top: -50px;
width: 100%;
margin: 0;
}
.otherpages{ margin: 0; }
</style>
And here's my html
<div class="firstpage">
<img src="pdf-bg.jpg" style="width:100%; height:auto;/>
</div>
<div id="header">
<p><?php echo date("F j, Y"); ?></p>
</div>
<div id="footer">
<p class="page">Page <?php $PAGE_NUM ?></p>
</div>
<div class="otherpages">
some content
</div>
Try this,
#page { margin: 50px 0; }
.firstpage {
position: absolute;
page-break-after: always;
top: -50px; // compensating for #page top margin
width: 100%;
margin: 0;
}
.otherpages{ margin: 0 50px; }

Why are the columns stacked up?

I am making a small shop and I have a page where I display my products. The code of this page looks like this:
<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', 1);
if(isset($_GET['action']) && $_GET['action']=="add"){
$id=($_GET['id']);
if(isset($_SESSION['cart'][$id])){
$_SESSION['cart'][$id]['quantity']++;
}else{
$sql_s="SELECT * FROM products
WHERE productCode='{$id}'";
$query_s=mysql_query($sql_s) or die(mysql_error());
if(mysql_num_rows($query_s)!=0){
$row_s=mysql_fetch_array($query_s);
$_SESSION['cart'][$row_s['productCode']]=array(
"quantity" => 1,
"price" => $row_s['buyPrice']
);
}else{
$message="This product id it's invalid!";
}
}
}
?>
<h1>Classic Cars</h1>
<?php
if(isset($message)){
echo "<h2>$message</h2>";
}
?>
<div class="container">
<?php
$sql="SELECT * FROM products ORDER BY productName ASC";
$query=mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error());
while ($row=mysql_fetch_array($query)) {
?>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-4 col-md-3">
<div class="recent-work-wrap">
<img class="img-responsive" src="images/portfolio/recent/item1.png" alt="">
<div class="overlay">
<div class="recent-work-inner">
<h3><?php echo $row['productName'] ?> </h3>
<p>€<?php echo $row['buyPrice'] ?></p>
<a class="btn btn-login" href="register.php">Add to cart</i></a>
<a class="btn btn-login" href="register.php">Read more</i></a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<?php
}
?>
</div>
Never mind the pictures, they are all the same at the moment.
The css of this part is as follows:
#recent-works .col-xs-12.col-sm-4.col-md-3{
padding: 0;
}
.recent-work-wrap {
position: relative;
}
.recent-work-wrap img{
width: 100%;
}
.recent-work-wrap .recent-work-inner{
top: 0;
background: transparent;
opacity: .8;
width: 100%;
border-radius: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
}
.recent-work-wrap .recent-work-inner h3{
margin: 10px 0;
}
.recent-work-wrap .recent-work-inner h3 a{
font-size: 24px;
color: #fff;
}
.recent-work-wrap .overlay {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
opacity: 0;
border-radius: 0;
background: #BDBDBD;
color: #fff;
vertical-align: middle;
-webkit-transition: opacity 500ms;
-moz-transition: opacity 500ms;
-o-transition: opacity 500ms;
transition: opacity 500ms;
padding: 30px;
}
.recent-work-wrap .overlay .preview {
bottom: 0;
display: inline-block;
height: 35px;
line-height: 35px;
border-radius: 0;
background: transparent;
text-align: center;
color: #fff;
}
.recent-work-wrap:hover .overlay {
opacity: 1;
}
The result of the code looks like this:
Why are the columns stacked up? And how can I solve this?
HTML:
<img class="img-responsive inline-block" src="images/portfolio/recent/item1.png" alt="">
Add the below markup to your CSS:
.inline-block{ display: inline-block;}
You can try this CSS property to image:
img{
display: inline-block;
float:left;
}

#effect-2 .img.hover .overlay {

can anyone tell me how to do so
You should use unique ids in your html. I recommend to always use classes instead of id. You can do something like this in your CSS
div[id^="tocolor-"] {
/* some css rules */
}
div[id^="tocolor-"] .overlay {
/* some css rules */
}
And in your html you can add an id using database table id like this
<div id="effect-<?php echo $id; ?>" class="effects clearfix">
Why not use bootstrap and use col-xs-4 class...which will make sure you always have 3 columns
<div id="effect-2" class="col-xs-4">
<div class="img">
<img src="<? echo $catpic; ?>" alt="">
<div class="overlay"> content
<a class="close-overlay hidden">x</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
