I can't crop or resize manually my pictures in my Wordpress gallery with the included resizer.
I have only one theme I bought on themeforest, and all was working well until I decide to crop some preview pictures on my posts.
My WP is hosted on a vps with nginx. But I already tried some things like activating the php-gd module, and so on...
Here is what I have on my picture resizer :
Here is something I didn't really understand, because the json file is send after the axaj call...
I hope you can help me to solve this issue, because theme's staff can't solve this issue (they're saying that all is working for them, and it comes from a plugin I installed), and no solutions on the wordpress community forum works for me...
Have a nice day!

how are you, thank you first for reading my message. I am currently working on a website, created with wordpress, the website has been compromised with security flaws, because when wordpress was installed they did it with a version of php 5.2, also the website is working with Wordpress version 5.3.4.
I am looking to make a clean copy of the website, first to be able to install the latest version of php to date 7.4, since the website generates errors when I try to change the version of php by force.
I am looking to make a copy of the post, with their respective featured images, using the wordpress exporter I have managed to export the entries without problem, but I cannot export the featured image.
I have tried to do various things:
1- export the entries, and then manually upload the images to the uploads folder
it has not worked
I don't want to migrate the entire site as the template has some styling errors that need to be fixed.
There is a way to migrate blog posts with the featured image, but I haven't figured it out so far, can you give me a hand? maybe a plugin? or how can I copy the posts directly to the database from php my admin, any suggestions?
There are various plugins which exports and imports posts into a Wordpress website.
I usually use the below plugin to import Posts from one WP website to another.
Export Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ultimate-exporter/
Import Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ultimate-csv-importer/
Install both the plugins in the website where you want to export. Setup will create a CSV file with posts.
After that, install the Importer plugin alone in the site where you want the pots to be imported. Now, Upload the CSV file to import the posts.

I am having two WordPress site with two different MySQL DB's running in my localhost development system, I am using Avada theme, in the second site I am using image carousel, If I upload images in my first site, then the image carousel in my second site should take the images from my first site by using API. Since I am new to Wordpress and PHP I don't have an idea. can anybody help me solve it? Thanks in advance!
I created a wordpress theme from blank. But I have some problems. I installed Jetpack but Carousel is not working. If I select the twenty fifteen theme it is working. I also tried many lightbox plugins, but none of them work.
I think this problem is about function.php. What can I do to fix this?
There might be a javascript conflict on one of your plugins, and possibly, on your theme. To debug, first try to set your theme to twenty fifteen, after that deactivate all your plugins, except for the lightbox plugin that you're using. Check if the lightbox plugin is working. If it is, then start activating each plugin one a time. Everytime you activate a plugin, make sure to check the lightbox if it is working or not. If the lightbox stops working after a certain plugin is activated, then that could be a sign on conflict on the javascript.
Let me know if you we're able to do what I suggested. Also, it would be easier for others to help you if you can post a link to a site where you are trying to to install the lightbox.
I've updated to WordPress 3.7.1 and when I upload images to my site, it's not generating thumbnails. It's also missing the image crop and thumbnail setting sidebar.
I created a simple theme but didn't make any kind of changes. Everything was working just fine up until the update.
I'm also using the default WordPress Gallery.
I've been searching but can't find anything on this.
Please help, thanks!
Here is an image which shows the site I'm working on: Link to how the current editor looks
I'm doing some maintenance and conversion on a wordpress site. My client is not fluent in HTML, and wants to be able to edit pages in a WYSIWYG fashion. However, this option does not exist in the current editor. (see image)
I have installed TinyMCE Advanced as per the instructions, it appears in my plugin list (also in the image), and activated the plugin, but I'm not seeing any changes. Is there a base TinyMCE plugin I need to install first? I was under the impression that Wordpress came pre-installed with it.
Some more info:
This is Wordpress 3.4.2
The TinyMCE plugin (if there is one) does not appear in the plugin list.
I do not know if there is an option in any panel where you choose which
Is it also possible to simply add the button to the current TinyMCE configuration? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks,
-Tom
