I have some classes that I want to add to the project in Symfony but it's a bit diffucult. I tried in many ways but still can't use a class.
My classes are stored in Model folder : src/project/MyBundle/Model/
I added the name space in my class namespace Project\MyBundle\Model;
And in the controller the use use Project\MyBundle\Model\Vendor;
and the call $vendor = new \Vendor($cin);.
But this doesn't work. I get this error
Attempted to load class "Vendor" from the global namespace.
Did you forget a "use" statement?
Some help pls
Define it as service:
my_service:
class: Project\MyBundle\Model\MyClass
In controller you can use it like this:
$this->container->get('my_service');

I created a new FBLogin.php file in App Folder, added class:
namespace App\FBLogin;
class authlogin {}
Now i want to use this class in my Controller File, so i added:
use App\FBLogin\authlogin;
Now when i am trying to use this class authlogin, it is showing me error Class 'App\FBLogin\authlogin' not found
Is there something i am doing wrong?

Why would you use a lowercase format when naming your classes? Anyway, your namespace inside your app folder should follow your file structure.
If you create your class like below,
namespace App\FBLogin;
class authlogin {
// code here
}
Your file structure must be:
app/
FBLogin/
authlogin.php
Then you can use the class anywhere in your app by declaring the proper namespace
use App\FBLogin\authlogin;
$authlogin = new authlogin();
I'm using Phalcon PHP with Multi module application. I'm using namespace in my project but I'm searching for something to use theses namespace.
For example, in my view folder I'm using the models folder and in my controller I use the models folder too. But I'm using lot of class models to do a Phalcon find or findFirst. And the only way than I found to make this multi apps working, it's to define the namespace used to import the class like this :
use Apps\Common\Models\Users;
use Apps\Common\Models\Customers;
use Apps\Common\Models\Agents;
...
And I have 50 models like this in my apps... I don't want to define them in all my controller and all my view to make it work.
Do you have a solutions for that ?

If I understood correctly, you can omit the namespace declaration on top of your controller file:
use Models\News;
class NewsController extends BaseController
{
public function indexAction()
{
// With Use above
$obj = new News();
// Without Use above (full namespace path)
$obj = new \Models\News();
}

I am using laravel 4.2.
Lets say there is such class:
class BShopsController extends ShopsController
To fix this, I try to use name space lets say this:
namespace app\controllers;
and then it does not find ShopsController
so I add
use \ShopsController;
Then I get error:
Class BShopsController does not exist
What namespace should I use first of all so it would not break anything?

BShopsController and ShopsController are in folder Shops
As your files are inside the Shops folder and I believe that the Shops folder is inside the app folder you should namespace your class the following way.
<?php namespace Shops;
class BShopsController extends ShopsController{}
Similarly,
<?php namespace Shops;
class ShopsController{}
So with the help of Shhetri and this Using namespaces in Laravel 4
I did this way:
namespace App\Controllers\Shops;
class BShopsController extends ShopsController{}
Also in routes.php then need to change to this:
Route::controller('shops', 'App\Controllers\Shops\ShopsController');
And where calling action() method - also need to use namespace.
Also needed to run
composer dump-autoload -o
otherwise were errors.
Also in ShopsContrller needed to to this:
use \App\Controllers\BaseController;
Because Shops controller was in another namespace than BaseController and cannot find it. But is extending from BaseController, so need it.
Like in Codeigniter we do have 'core' folder where we can define our own controller like 'MY_Controller' and can be used to extend all the class to extend from this controller is there any possibility to do so in Symfony2.
In symfony I want to create class 'MY_Controller' which extends from the base class 'Controller', and I want all the classes in the controllers to extend from MY_Controller' class.

Note:
When working with Symfony2 it is strongly recommended you follow the Symfony2 coding style. It's basically the same as PHP-FIG, with one or two deviations. So underscores are a no-no in class names. Other than that: Symfony is pretty easy to work with, and fully OO, so changing the class a controller extends from is as simple as replacing extends Controller with extends AnotherClass.
But now, the symfony2-way of using a custom controller:
What you could do, is create a Core bundle (CoreBundle henceforth). Then, in this CoreBundle, define a controller, that extends from the Symfony Controller component. From the command line, in your project root, use this command:
php app/console generate:bundle --namespace=YourNameSpace/CoreBundle --bundle-name=YourNameSpaceCoreBundle
More options can be found here
After that, you'll find a DefaultController class in the bundle directories. (probably in the folder src/YourNamespace/CoreBundle/Controller). Then, set about generating your Core controller:
php app/console generate:controller --controller=YourNameSpaceCoreBundle:Core

After you've finished setting up your custom controller, you can use it in any of the other bundles at will:
namespace YourNameSpace\AnotherBundle\Controller;

And that's it: you're done.
First, don't name the class using underscores as in PSR-0 each underscore char is converted to a directory separator, when used in class name.
Second, put your controllers to <bundledir>/Controller/
Third, name your controller something like BaseController and extend all other controllers from it.
Fourth, think of using dependency injection rather than coupling functionality in a base controller.
I'm trying to figure out how to add a method to a class in a Laravel package, so that all controllers and models that call that class can access the new method. How do I replace this class in the IoC?
This is the package in question, Angel CMS. The package is my creation, so I can modify it if we need to add aliases or anything to accomplish this.
Let's say I want to add a method to this class:
vendor/angel/core/src/models/PageModule.php
Okay, so I copy the class file to here:
app/models/PageModule.php
And then I modify the copied file, adding a namespace and the desired custom_function method:

As you can see, I am using the MyModels namespace here.
Then, I run a composer dump-autoload.

return PageModule::custom_function();
});
But, when visiting the test route, I always receive the same error that the method is undefined.

To be honest, I'm pretty new to all this IoC, dependency inversion/injection concept too. But I think I've gone through the same struggle before. What I would do, as much as my knowledge allows, is...
Add a constructor to src/controllers/admin/AdminPageController.php:
protected $pageModule;
public function __construct(PageModule $pageModule)
{
$this->pageModule = $pageModule;
}
Then where you did $module = new PageModule in the same file. You replace it with:
$module = $this->pageModule;
The two modifications above makes use of Laravel's IoC to allow injecting a different PageModule object into your controller, instead of strictly creating PageModule in your code.
Now at this point Laravel should know that when it constructs the AdminPageController, it should create a PageModule and inject into the controller for you.
Since your controller now expects a PageModule class, you can no longer do class PageModule extends Eloquent in your app anymore, because even though the name is the same, PHP does not think that it is! You'll need to extend it:
So let's rename your app/models/PageModule.php to app/models/CustomPageModule.php, and in the file change the class to:
class CustomPageModule extends \PageModule {
Up to this point, you also have a CustomPageModule class that is a child of your package's PageModule. All you need to do now is to let Laravel knows that if any controllers ask for PageModule, it should serve the controller with your MyModels\CustomPageModule instead.
So at the top of your app's routes.php file:
App::bind('PageModule', 'MyModels\CustomPageModule');
Your AdminPageController should now be using your CustomPageModule and can use whatever public methods that are in there!
I'm expecting to be editing this answer heavily since this will be quite a long discussion. My first try at answering above isn't the best code you can write, but I hope it takes the least amount of edit to the original code, and then we can work up from there.

You probably have a alias for the PageModule facade, you should override this alias using your class \MyModels\PageModule in your app/config/app.php file.
Be careful, it seems like you are overwriting the PageModule class instead of extending it. You should probably extend the parent class instead of Eloquent.
