I need to use adaptive payment with Recursion in Paypal. Paypal has option to use Adaptive payment and Recursive payment separately, but I need to use both in single transaction. I tried to find out but I am not getting the solution, some answers says that its not possible to use both in single transaction but I dont have any specification in Paypal web site for this. So please advice me for this and if it is not possible then please give me some authenticated web link for this

I've searched everywhere in order to find an answer but have not found one. All i know is that in order to do it you need paypal adaptive payments i think (if you know another way let me know)
What im trying to do is make it so that when a user purchases a product 15% goes to one paypal account and the rest goes to the authors paypal account but have done loads of searching and have found nothing
PayPalAP::setAuth('my_api_username', 'my_api_password', 'my_api_signature');
// I'm not passing in an environment, which will default it to sandbox mode.
$options = array(
'cancelUrl' => 'http://my_cancel_url',
'returnUrl' => 'http://my_return_url',
'currencyCode' => 'USD',
'receiverEmailArray' => array('receiver_of_funds'),
'receiverAmountArray' => array('15'),
'ipnNotificationUrl' => 'http://my_ipn_listener_url'
);

Adaptive Payments would be the way with paypal ... But I would recommend using stripe for this kind of transaction. The API allows better control and was build for this kind of complexity. If you can replace paypal with stripe, do it. If not, you will need to contact paypal. They made this feature restricted.
Patrick Simard is correct that this feature is now restricted, but assuming you have received authorization from PayPal to use the adaptive API, then you have two option:
Chained Payments
Parallel Payments
Both will achieve the same end game, but which one you choose is ultimately up to you.
Chained Payments
With Chained Payments, you set up a payment option where the initial payment goes into one account, a portion is removed/left in that account, and then the rest is sent on to a second account.
Parallel Payments
Parallel Payments will produce a similar result, but rather than all of the funds being sent to one account first before being sent onwards, the money is instead sent to two different accounts immediately. (This option actually supports up to 6 accounts being paid at once.)
Examples of the HTTP I/O can be found on the linked documentation pages. You will simply need to set up cURL requests to create these. (Which should be a fairly straight forward process.)
To reiterate, though, heed the following notice from PayPal about using this API:
Important: Adaptive Payments is now a limited release product. It is restricted to select partners for approved use cases and should not be used for new integrations without guidance from PayPal.
This warning can be found at the top of documentation pages for Adaptive Pay.
Edit: In response to your comment, I have located a possible alternative that does not rely on the Adaptive Payments API, and seemingly does not require special permission from PayPal to use.
The option I found is to use Express Checkout with Parallel Payments. This utilizes the PayPal Name-Value Pair (NVP) and SOAP API. Some details on this option can found on this documentation page: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/express-checkout/integration-guide/ECParallelPayments/
As a caution, though, that page seems to indicate that the NVP and SOAP API is deprecated. I am unsure what they are replacing it with, but at this time, it does still appear to be an opportunity, although you may have to update your code at some point when they release their replacement for NVP & SOAP and/or when they remove NVP & SOAP.
There is also a full list of SDKs, which includes an Express Checkout SDK written in PHP for the NVP & SOAP API: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/nvpsoap-sdks/
I have an issue right now that is killing me, I have implemented several payment options but never used paypal, I don't know why is it so complicated.
The website already exists and wasn't developed by myself.
I don't know the ammount of the order it is dynamic, so the "create payment buttons" on the paypal website doesn't work for me, at this point i developed a solution using
PayPal developers
But it turns out that i only have the option to pay with a PayPal account or register a PayPal account, I do not want to force customers to do this, it has no sense. is there any relatively easy solution out there using the same PayPal API?
EDIT
The whole site code is in PHP so i need the solution in this language
As you have mentioned that you are aware of one payment method i.e. Express Checkout ( in which user needs to have a valid Paypal account) so the other method which I think you need is the Direct Payment (i.e. a user can pay with credit cards directly without any Paypal account) API.
For this direct payment api you need to enable Website Payment Pro WPP , here you can get info about WPP.
Is it possible to be the middle man for a Paypal transaction without having anything thing to do with the transaction (PayPal account wise)
so the buyer pays directly into the seller's account and my site verify's the purchase (somehow) and emails download link.
How is this done and yes this is a coding question since it involves PayPal API and possible PHP workaround.
Any help would be happily received.
Yes, you should use Paypal adaptive payments to achieve this. Note that you need a PayPal Business account. A related question with answer: Online payments for a middleman
I want to Use the Paypal API for chained payment (adaptive payment), but i wan't that the user will not get out from my site, so I need to use the DoDirectPayment also...
Is it possible to integrate them both?
I couldn't found the answer for this question...
Thanks.
They both are part of two different API suites from PayPal. The chained payment is from Adaptive Payments API and DoDirectPayment is from PayPal Payments Pro (Direct edition). So make sure you sign up for them as required.
As Prash mentioned, for chained payments w/ PayPal accounts you must redirect to PayPal. But instead of using full browser redirect - you can use the Embedded Payments experience that uses iframe/mini-browser window that provides a more contextual experience to your users.
The user must leave your site in order to login to PayPal, however they are redirected back to your site afterwards where you can process the payment.
I am new to sandbox and paypal payment gateway. I am using paypal adaptive payment to pay amount to two people at a time. My current code works perfectly. I am using the paypal generated code. I just want to know that is it possible that when the payment is made successfully can I make that entry to my database. I have my php code, but where do I need to write this?
Thanks in advance(plzz no down votes)
You should wait for the IPN message that contain details about the payment status
https://www.paypal.com/ipn
You need to define the url of the php script that listen for those messages in your paypal account. There are some php examples on how to implement it.
