Loading multiple Stripe Checkout Buttons Very Slow - php

I have a php page where I load stripe checkout buttons for 12 subscription options. The page takes up to 10 seconds to load. Is there a way to speed it up?. I can't demonstrate it as it requires the user to be logged in before the buttons will load.The code that loads the buttons is in a for loop and looks like this:
<form action="https://www.example.com/plans/subscribe.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="customer" value="<? echo $stripeID ?>">
<input type="hidden" name="plan" value="<? echo $thisPlan['id'] ?>">
<script src="https://checkout.stripe.com/checkout.js" class="stripe-button"
data-key="<?php echo $stripe['publishable_key']; ?>"
data-name="www.breakoutwatch.com"
data-image="https://www.example.com/images/eyeLogo.png"
data-description="<? echo $thisPlan['name'] ?>"
data-amount="<? echo $thisPlan['amount'] ?>"
data-locale="auto"
data-panel-label="Subscribe Now"
data-label="Subscribe"
data-allow-remember-me="false">
</script>
</form>

It requires a little javascript work, but I'd recommend using Checkout's custom integration for a case like this!
https://stripe.com/docs/checkout#integration-custom
You'd load checkout once, create your buttons, and add on click handlers. To identify the plan being chosen you could add a hidden <input> which is populated with the plan name based upon the button you click.
Example with multiple buttons
form
<form id="myForm" action="/charge" method="post">
<input type="button" id="buySocks" value="Buy Socks for $10">
<input type="button" id="buyShirts" value="Buy Shirts for $30">
<input type="hidden" id="stripeToken" name="stripeToken" />
<input type="hidden" id="stripeEmail" name="stripeEmail" />
<input type="hidden" id="product" name="product" />
</form>
js
// configure checkout
var handler = StripeCheckout.configure({
key: 'pk_test_6pRNASCoBOKtIshFeQd4XMUh',
token: function(token) {
// append your token id and email, submit your form
$("#stripeToken").val(token.id);
$("#stripeEmail").val(token.email);
$("#myForm").submit();
}});
// click on a button
$('#buySocks').on('click', function(e) {
$("#product").val("socks");
openCheckout("Buy socks for $10", 1000);
e.preventDefault();
});
$('#buyShirts').on('click', function(e) {
$("#product").val("shirts");
openCheckout("Buy shirts for $30", 3000);
e.preventDefault();
});
// open checkout
function openCheckout(description, amount){
handler.open({
name: 'My Cool Shop',
description: description,
amount: amount
});
}

While this answer isn't code, I ended up solving this by moving the Stripe checkout form over to a different page. Now my users click "Add to cart" and they're brought to a different page with a single button to invoke Stripe's checkout modal. It's not perfect but it's much faster and works.

Forced to click submit button twice

I have Laravel 5.5 a page that has two forms but uses the same controller and method. First form is to cater for initial details but the second form is a search form. My search form works but only if you click the search button twice is there a way I could force to click once to submit that form.
View
<form name="FormSearch" id="FormSearch" method="post" action="{!! action(MyController#index',$customID) !!}">
<input type="text" name="searchDets" id="searchDets" value="" />
<input type="submit" class="btn btn-default" name="searchMe" id="searchMe" value= "Search Me"/>
</form>
Js
$('#FormSearch').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
$('#filterSearchForm').submit();
});
I would like my view page to submit once.
First of all, I couldn't find the element with id filterSearchForm, so, here is an edit that I made that submits the same form (i.e. FormSearch) when you click on it:
$('#FormSearch').click(function(e){
//e.preventDefault();
$('#FormSearch').trigger('submit');
});
I have used the trigger event that is fired which submits the form FormSearch when you click on the form FormSearch.
Here is it how it works:
$('#FormSearch').click(function(e) {
//e.preventDefault();
$('#FormSearch').trigger('submit');
});
$("#FormSearch").submit(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
alert('submitted');
});
#FormSearch{
background: black;
}
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.3.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<form name="FormSearch" id="FormSearch" method="post" action="{!! action(MyController#index',$customID) !!}">
<input type="text" name="searchDets" id="searchDets" value="" />
<input type="submit" class="btn btn-default" name="searchMe" id="searchMe" value="Search Me" />
</form>
<p>
** Click anywhere on the black area.
</p>
I hope this was helpful.
I have faced the same issue and it was due to js version . So please check your jquery.validate's version.

Given the results of a POST, how can I change a value and resubmit it?

Say I have a HTML form that lets you input a name and age and returns with a list of people with that name and age.
<form method="post" action="/search_results">
<input type="text" name="personName">
<input type="text" name="personAge">
<input type="submit" value="Submit!">
</form>
And on the search results page I have a list of the results, but I only display 50 at a time and allow users to go forwards/backwards between the page with buttons. So the results page would also look for a POSTed 'pageNumber' value and default to 0 if there is none.
When they click a button, how would I resubmit the age and name and also submit the corresponding pageNumber from the button?
I'm using PHP
Add a hidden field to the form:
<form name=search"" method="post" action="/search_results">
<input type="hidden" name="pageNumber"
value="<?php echo isset($_POST['pageNumber']) ? (int) $_POST['pageNumber'] : 0; ?>">
<input type="text" name="personName">
<input type="text" name="personAge">
<input type="submit" value="Submit!">
</form>
Add a JavaScript function to modify the hidden field value:
<script>
function search(pageNumber) {
var form = document.forms.search;
if (!form) return;
form.elements.pageNumber.value = pageNumber;
form.submit();
}
</script>
Apply the JavaScript function for the page buttons:
<span onclick="search(1)">1</span>
<span onclick="search(2)">2</span>
Obviously, the buttons should be generated with PHP in the following manner:
<?php
for ($p = 0; $p < $pagesNum; ++$p) {
echo "<span onclick='search($p)'>$p</span>";
}
?>
<form method="post" action="/search_results">
<input type="text" name="personName" value="<?php echo (isset($formdata['personName'])?$formdata['psersonName']:"") ?>">
<input type="text" name="personAge" value="<?php echo (isset($formdata['personAge'])?$formdata['personAge']:"") ?>">
<input type="hidden" name="currentPage" value="<?php echo (isset($formdata['currentPage'])?$formdata['currentPage']:"0") ?>">
<input type="submit" value="Submit!">
</form>
formdata are the data which are the inputs of the previous submit. These data should be returned by the search_results page along with the view.
Below is the js
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$(".paginationBtns").click(function(){
var page = $(this).attr('pageValue');
$("input[name='current']").val(page);
$("form").submit();
});
});
</script>
Assumptions of the forward and backward button
<a href="#" pageValue=0>Back</a><a href="#" pageValue=50>Next</a>
You have to append the back and next pageValue while loading each page.
The best practice in pagination to use a simple link that contains the parameres (GET) and not (POST). That way, when you have the parameters in the url you can cache it, add to favorites, get indexed by google, share your page in email/facebook etc.
<a href='http://example.com/?personName=<?=$_POST['personName']?>&personAge=<?=$_POST['personAge']?>&page=<?=$next_page_number?>'>Next</a>
If for some reason you must or really want to use POST you can save the values in hidden inputs within a form in the page and then sumbit it when clicking on "next page" button.
Form example:
notice its just an example you should sanitize the variables and not put them directly from the $_POST
<form name="pagination" method="post" action="/search_results">
<input type="hidden" name="page" id="page" value="2">
<input type="hidden" name="personName" value='<?=$_POST['personName'];?>'>
<input type="hidden" name="personAge" value='<?=$_POST['personAge'];?>'>
</form>
notice that we set the next page numbers & do submit by using a command from the form of:
<button onclick='document.getElementById("page").value= "2";document.pagination.submit();'>Next page</button>

Remove the form input fields data after click on submit?

hi i am using a form for users subscription on the website with target is _new.
when i click on the submit button that the submitting message shows on the new window but the previous window still holding the data.
How to remove input fields data after submitting.
<form target="_new" action="samplepage.php" method="post">
<input type="text" name="inputtxt1" />
<input type="text" name="inputtxt2" />
<input type="submit" value="submit" />
</form>
Any suggestions???
Make the autocomplete - off
try this
<form target="_new" action="samplepage.php" method="post" autocomplete="off">
<input type="text" name="inputtxt1" />
<input type="text" name="inputtxt2" />
<input type="submit" value="submit" />
</form>
Reset form data using this
$('form').get(0).reset();
$(document).ready(function(){
$('form_name').submit(function(){
$('input[type="text"]').val('');
});
});
You can set value to null for text field using jquery on submit button click
$("input[type=submit]").click(function()
{
$("input[type=text]").val('');
});
EDIT:
I don't know is this a good approach, use blur instead of click event
$("input[type=submit]").blur(function()
{
$("input[type=text]").val('');
});
But it will meet your need.

jquery 2 forms one floating

I have a page with login form (on click, login form slides dowm) and underneath I have a link for registering a new user. With click on 'register new' link, new form pops-up and after validating each field, the submit event doesn't work - because there is a login form too and jQuery tries to trigger submit event of the first form.
How to trigger this specific onsubmit event - for the second form? I tried to hide a first form, but it didn't work and then I try to disabled it, which doesn't work as well.
(forms on separate pages works fine - validated with PHP and JS)
I think this is an easy thing to do .. but I cannot figure out how to do. Till now I overcome this problem, but I really like to find out how to make it work.
Thanks.
Unfortunatelly .. none of this answers works ...
Here is the code:
<div id="loginFormContainer">
<h2 id="loginShow" class="myriad_pro_bold_condensed_italic">Login</h2>
<form name="login_form" action="<?php if(isset($action) && !empty($action)) echo $action; ?>" method="POST" id="login_form" >
<fieldset>
<label>Your name </label>
<input type="text" name="username" maxlength="30" id="username_login" value="" class="required" placeholder="Enter Your Name" />
<label>Your password </label>
<input type="password" name="password" maxlength="16" id="password_login" value="" class="required " placeholder="Enter Your Password" />
</fieldset>
<input type="hidden" name="token" value="<?php if(isset($token)) echo $token; ?>" />
<input type="submit" name="submit-login" id="submit_login" value="Login" />
</form>
<div class="small">Register | Forgotten Password</div>
<div class="error"></div>
</div>
And JS ... should work like: if on register click: register windows pops-up, if on login the login form should slide down.
Right now, both of them slides ...I can remove the login form if I want to register, but the submit button from register form doesn't work.
$("#login_form").hide();
$("#loginShow").click(function(){
$('form#login_form .error').remove();
$("#login_form").slideDown("slow");
$('form#login_form').on("submit", function(event) {
event.preventDefault();
//code validation and ajax submit
}); //end form submit
});
$('#register').click(function(e) {
//$('#loginShow').remove(); //form is removed, but submit event still doesn't work
//if I completely remove login form from php page, then works fine
e.preventDefault();
$('form#register_form').click(function(event) {
event.preventDefault();
//
}); //end form submit
});//end register floating
Oh, yes, one final detail: on Chrome works fine :S, not in FF (v.10)
$(":submit").click(function(e){
$(this).closest("form").submit();
return false;
});
Try this:
var secondForm = $('form').eq(1);
secondForm.trigger('submit');
Just give the second submit button an id.
<input type='submit' id='submit2'>
Now for trigerring validation bind onclick event to the submit2 id
$('#submit2').click(function(){
//logic goes here
});

How do I go straight to the shopping cart with the item added

So I am trying add an item to the shopping cart without clicking on the add to cart in miva. For example
I go here
http://posnation.com/pos_knowledge
and i click on the Buy now button
it takes me to
http://posnation.com/pos_support/online_kbase
but on that page there is an add to cart button, if you hit it the item gets added to the Miva cart. How do I skip this page
http://posnation.com/pos_support/online_kbase
and go straight to the cart with the item added
If i firebug over the add to cart there is a javascript onchange function called ComputeTotalCost but i am not sure how to get there from the first page
You would need to make it a forum:
<form method="post" name="FORM" action="/mm5/merchant.mvc?">
<input name="Product_Attribute_Count" value="-1" type="hidden">
<input name="Action" value="ADPR" type="hidden">
<input name="Screen" value="BASK" type="hidden">
<input name="Store_Code" value="POS_Systems" type="hidden">
<input name="Product_Code" value="online_kbase" type="hidden">
<input name="Category_Code" value="pos_support" type="hidden">
<input name="Quantity" value="1" size="4" type="text">
<input src="/images/buy_now.png" alt="Add to Cart" align="absmiddle" type="image">
</form>
It needs to post data to the cat in order to add it to the cart, The code above should add 1 of the items to the cart.
you can add a javascript action at the bottom of that page to submit the form.
the form name is "FORM" so the code you need to add is:
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
document.FORM.submit();
</script>
Do you want to do this in javascript? You can just put a listener on the buy now button that will redirect to whatever page you want:
This is done in jquery:
$("#yourbuttonid").click(
function(event) {
// do the first action (submit the button to serverside)
// do the redirect
});
