so I started my laptop to work this morning and my system had just recovered from a crash. And I had to use the system restore option available on windows to start my system. After this, I started my xampp and after trying to open one of my recent databases, I got the error table does not exist on this engine. After checking my error log, I found a link: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/innodb-troubleshooting-datadict.html.
I have visited the link but couldn't find a useful information to solve my problem. Please help guys.

I attempted to upgrade my MyBB forum from 1.6.18 version to 1.18.21.
The script stuck at Database updating:
Updating Database
Performing necessary upgrade queries...
Click next to continue with the upgrade process.
Then instead there is a button that can't be clicked [Automatically Redirecting...]
My site is hosted on a free hosting, so I thinked it is not much powerful to do an ugpgrade, also if my db is not so big, just 55mb.
Then I setup AAMPS on my pc and tried on that.
I edited mysql config file to increment max_allowed_packet to 1000m
But incredibly............ it stucks EXACTLY at the same point with the same result. I left the page for more than 1 hour and it's still stay on the Updating Database page.
Can someone help me please?
I maybe should edit some php or mysql config?
Firstly check the current minimum requirements to upgrade to make sure that you have
enough resources like PHP version, Mysql and diskspace, etc...
If you are on Chrome, you can use the Developer tools to inspect the page and look for any console error. Another way to detect the issue is to enable the warnings in php.ini file. This would help us identify the issue and then we can look forward to solutions to resolve the same.
Reference to enable warning:
Showing all errors and warnings
Give this a try and post back with the errors you have identified and we shall try to resolve it.
i´m new to this place and new to the hole programming stuff so please be patient.
I started the try to install Prestashop on Easyphp Devserver for my own and had a few Problems i solved allready but for my actual Problem i didn´t find an answer on the internet.
I´m using Easyphp 16.1 and want to install Prestashop 1.6.0.5 on it. I created a database via phpmyadmin, my http server is running with php 5.6 and even my database server is running with mysql.
Now i started the installation and it worked fine till that point when the installation should start. Everytime i start Step 6 "istallation" i get an White Screen instead of an bar that shows me the installationprocess going on.
First i´ve been reading about an error in cause of Ressource-configurations that may be increased. I did. No Change.
Then i saw an commendation in Step 3 when my Systemcompatibility got checked from the istallguide that is (roughly) "No PDO for mysql".
I activated it in the php.ini file and checked wheter its activated and sure it is now. But my white screen appears still everytime i try to install.
Somebody now ideas what i could do?
Many Thanks :)
I have installed the last version of XAMPP for MAC OS, Apache runs without any problems, MySQL too, but when i attempt to create, edit, or import smth, always appears error with MySQL answer: #1932 - Table 'phpmyadmin.pma__tracking' doesn't exist in engine.
Notice, that i didn't edit configuration files, this error started appearing after installing program.
Tried to find answer everywhere, but without result. All information i found was devoted to error #1146, but i think that it isn't the same one...
Thanks!
It seems like, the database you have selected is 'phpmyadmin'. Where there is no table with name 'pma__tracking'. Hope you should select another database.
Need some guidance figuring out what went wrong. I've been using mysql, phpmyadmin for just under a year on my home computer while I develop a webapp. 3 days ago I updated my windows vista with all the "wonderful" microsoft updates, security patches, etc...and now it's broke. I tried uninstalling all the upgrades, but there are 4 of them I can't unistall because microsoft says their "operating system" updates and can't be unistalled.
My system is: windows vista, php 5+, mysql 5.1, Apache 2+.
I can run my web app and it queries the database without any problems. However, when I run phpmyadmin to get into the database I get an error: "mysqld.exe has stopped working" and phpmyadmin crashes. I tried going to the command line for mysql to do a mysqldump to backup my database and it gives me an error "2013, could not connect to the server". If I restart the computer the webapp will work again. Basically, php can query the database, but if I try to get at the database through phpmyadmin, or the command prompt the mysqld.exe error occurs and blows mysql out.
Any ideas what's going on here? Any ideas how to get around this to backup the db, so I can reinstall mysql?. I'm really lost where to start. I don't really know if the updates caused the problem, or if the 4 updates that can't be unistalled are really the problem.
Any tips will be appreciated. thanks.
You could try using XAMPP. It has PHP, MySQL, Apache, and other stuff all in one easy to use package.
After a software/ hardware drivers update, it may happened that the service mysqld.exe crashes at each launch (usually with message: mysqld.exe encountered an error and needs to close)
Check the solution described here (it worked for me) if you wish to avoid mysql reinstall.
I get this error after installing mamp and setting up my site on dreamweaver. I connected to a database I created in phpMyAdmin, then i tried to create a recordSet for my application then i get this error.
While executing addDynamicSource in Recordset.htm, a JavaScript error occured.
Any idea anybody what this is and how to fix it. thanks
you willo need to give more information if you want some one to answer that. maybe a copy of the access script without the link names and making sure your links are correct when an answer is given to see if you have script errors that you are noticing on compile. or maybe use a compiler that will seee these errors
