I have purchased Jupiter theme and i have been using it for a number of website. But recently i am not able to work on the theme because the theme default plugin Visual composer is not working properly. When i go to edit page to edit the elements it shows blank and stays idle. I also tried to reduce the version of WordPress to 4.4 but still no use. Can somebody please support to solve this issue. The theme support has expire so no hope on that. And i am not so techie to sort what the exact problem is. If someone can guide me to solve it, it would be much appreciated. Many many thanks in advance.
The following image show the what i have explained
I think it is the compatibility issue of visual composer with the wordpress. If the visual composer installed it not latest there are the chances of conflict with latest versions of wordpress. So you may please confirm that the plugin you are using is compatible with the wordpress version you are using on your site.

i am new here and i hope you can help me,
my hosting provider forcing me to upgrade to PHP 8 from 7.4 and i have a WP site with Anahata v 1.4 Theme installed. I upgraded the PHP version but WP giving me an error and i couldn't react the site with that error. i deactivated everything and i narrowed down to this file /wp-content/plugins/js_composer.
when i deactivate this file the site is readable, but the whole site is just code like
[vc_row content_width="grid" content_aligment="center" css=".vc_custom_1483025434590{padding-top: 92px !important;background-color: #fafafa !important;}"][vc_column][mkd_separator_with_icon icon_pack="font_awesome" fa_icon="" sep_color="#f7972f" custom_icon="11652"][vc_column_text]
instead of real content like actual rows and column for example (as if i am seeing the page with the simple editor instead of WPBakery Page Builder)
can anyone have an idea how to change something in the js_composer plugin to make it work with PHP 8? or any alternative to that plugin.
i dont see js_composer when i navigate to plugins in my admin daschbord and there are no new version of this Theme avalible.
thanks alot for hearing me.
Create theme in WordPress but Visual Composer is not working. Please give me solution asp.
You related the question to the WPBakery, not Visual Composer plugin. You need to have the last version 5.7 in order to fix this issue. More information, contact support.wpbakery.com if you have a valid license.
I've installed the AheadWorks' Automatic Product Callouts extension for Magento. I've followed the steps on their website on how to install this extension and everything is set up and installed correctly. The problem is when I call the block nothing shows on the website.
Installation Guide:
http://confluence.aheadworks.com/display/EUDOC/Automatic+Product+Callouts
This is the code I use to call the block on my page:
{{block type="automaticcallouts/automaticcallouts" block_type="best_selling"}}
Thanks in advance for the help.
So after countless hours of struggling I finally found what was preventing multiple functionality problems (including my initial question's problem) on the Magento website... The answer, an outdated Fishpig (wordpress integration) extension.
After I read the error logs I found that Fishpig was the problem, but didn't know what the exact problem was. I then saw that my version of Fishpig was way outdated and I simply just downloaded and installed the new version and everything was working again.
I am using Silverstripe 3.0. I have added custom tabs/sub tabs for pages...if you are on a sub tab and you publish the page, the control returns to the main tab....I need the tabs preserved...
I noticed that this has been fixed in SS 3.0.5
Can someone please point out all the related files that have been modified to fix this in SS 3.0.5
Thanks in advance
seems to be related to the 3.0.1 release(http://doc.silverstripe.org/framework/en/3.1/changelogs/3.0.1) specifically this commit? (https://github.com/silverstripe/silverstripe-framework/commit/155758f) but there might be more...
But you should definitely upgrade to 3.1 (http://doc.silverstripe.org/framework/en/3.1/installation/upgrading)
Is there a reason why you dont simply upgrade?
It should be easy by just replace the cms & framework folders.
If you would like to see the changes, i recommend to checkout or download the current version of Silverstripe 3.0 in a seperate folder, make a directory diff with your project and view the diff with a diffviewer tool like:
Meld on Linux
WinMerge on Windows
FileMerge on Mac
A full list you can find here.
Is there a way to downgrade any Wordpress plugin after upgrade? My client upgraded all plugins and now up-gradation of some plugin creating problem.
YES but it's not a one-click process like upgrading was. You need to delete the folder of the specific plugin from the wp-content/plugins directory and then upload the older version. You should be able to find a copy of each version on the various plugin websites.
No way other than to delete/remove them and re-install the required versions.
No. And neither you can downgrade the WP itself. That's why they always warn us to backup our data :S
PS_ you could download an earlier version, but I guess that's not what you're asking.
