PHP - My code does not work. Am I using include wrong? - php

My question has differently been answered in another post, but I just can't make things work with my own code - so here it comes:
I am making a reminder function, that is supposed to be executed by cron job and send out an reminder email to remind client about an event.
I will use info from mysql, sort out the events that is going to be reminded based on X number of hours and the reminder time frame (if the cron job runs every 15 minutes, the code must find all event starting in the minutes between each cron job run).
All the above works just fine, and I do get the echo "test1"; from test-cron.php. But the email from test-cron-email-reminder.php is not send, and I do not get the echo "test2"; printed out.
I seems like my include in test-cron.php does not work. Why?
If I put it all together in one php file it works fine.
When this is ready, I will make a similar code to send out sms reminder with twilio. That as well works fine, as long as the whole code is in one file.
Both php files are in the same folder.

The problem is in TEST-CRON.PHP -- don't put an include inside a while loop, unless you really want to include that file over and over. (You don't)

Foreach function gives 503 Service Unavailable

It is 1 AM and I am struggling for 3-4 hours to see what's wrong with my script...
My database has ~400 emails. I set $ChunkSize as counter for the loop and also to count which is the next chunk to be processed.
I've set some echo() to debug

It should output what chunk is processed at that time.
If I disable mail() then I don't get 503 Service Unavailable but every echo() displays at the same time, not in the order of processing.
I also found out that some emails arrive, but not to everyone. Also, if some emails are sent, that means foreach() should have processed at least one chunk, that means it should display at least one echo().
I've set break 1; so every time it breaks out of foreach() it should display the echo() with the chunk number processed by foreach() but it doesn't.
What I am doing wrong?

Create script that will only do one thing - send mail.

P.S. this solution is for cases when You don't want to pay for normal batch mail sending, mail subscription or dedicated, vps services and have just small web hosting. (:

PHP script doesnt redirect to "header" page

worse thing is , it used to work , then I opened it, edited some stuff and now it doesnt work, tried the back-up copy and it still doesnt work !?
Working in CMS MadeSimple. the URLs are correct , the confirmation2.html is a file, not a page made in CMS and it is in the same folder as the php script and if I try to access it directly (not via the contact from) its there, I have tried ' ' and " " quotes, still no change.
Probably a simple mistake, I did try looking for other solutions in here (stackoverflow.com) but nothing to fix my current issue. I know that I shouldnt have any output before the header but... well I dont have any output so, I'm baffled.

UPDATE:
Seems like the reCAPTCHA was shitting me, and after I removed it - WORKS.
Gonna leave it defenseless for now. Thanks to all who wanted to help.

WhileLoop through a mysql db list

Ok so long story short, I have a simple mailto function I want to apply/run for every name on a db list. Since it's not working, I removed all the mail stuff from it and to test to make sure the while loop was working with the db, did this

Now this works, it goess through my db and prints out all my first names from the database list. In my noob brain, id think that if i remove the echo lines, and enter the appropriate mailto information, that it would loop just like before, but send mail to each name. so i did this:

now this emails the first name on my list, but not the rest.
I don't get any errors so not sure what the problem is. I was going to try an if statement with num_rows but somewhere else, on StackOverflow, someone said that didn't help since the while loop took care of it by itself. (I tried it either way and it still emailed only the first name) I'm trying here but to no avail.

You have not called the mail() function inside your loop. You call it once outside. Instead try something like the following.
Assuming you have retrieved the $to address from your database query (like you did with the firstname in testing), pull it from the rowset, and use it in mail():

PHP mail entire page

I have a page that determines the variable ISSET and then acts on instructions. For example if the isset contains 'print' it loads a file via Include Template Path and echos a code on the bottom that prints the window.
eg.

The include function does not return the output or content of the script you're including.

You need to get the entire content of the page, or the part(s) you'd like to e-mail, into a variable. One way of doing this is using PHP's output buffering. A good explanation of how output buffering works can be found here: http://www.codewalkers.com/c/a/Miscellaneous/PHP-Output-Buffering/

Blank Mail from PHP application

Problem: Blank email from PHP web application.
Confirmed: App works in Linux, has various problems in Windows server environment. Blank emails are the last remaining problem.
PHP Version 5.2.6 on the server
I'm a librarian implementing a PHP based web application to help students complete their assignments.I have installed this application before on a Linux based free web host and had no problems.
Email is controlled by two files, email_functions.php and email.php. While email can be sent, all that is sent is a blank email.
My IT department is an ASP only shop, so I can get little to no help there. I also cannot install additional libraries like PHPmail or Swiftmailer.

Instead of sending it, build the email and display all of the vars used in the mail call to the screen and comment out the mail call. That will confirm that the vars are being properly constructed.
Then start using the mail function again, if you have access to mail logs that would help as well, as it may give you more information. Also, take a look at the headers on the email you receive as that also may show you that a header or 2 is messed up.
Also try setting $crlf = "\r\n";

brett, if you think it's the headers, i'd try the bare minimum and get it to work. once it works, start adding headers until you get the error. then let us know what the problem is.
