Using Wordpress Multisite with Wordpress v5.3.2 and Gutenberg Editor, I'm unable to edit permalinks above the title of a page or post. When clicking the title on a page in the editor, I'm presented with the link but no edit button. Is there a function I need to add to the functions.php file in order to enable this?
Changing permalink to posts or pages in Wordpress
Go to Dashboard > Pages > All Pages. Then on the page list, hover on the page name and click 'Quick Edit'.
you should see something like this:
You can change the slug field by placing the new value. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking on the Update button.
Note: I am using version 5.4 and it worked for me. I needed to change some urls for the English version of my website.
Although it was a little late, I decided to answer because other people may be encountering the same problem. I had a lot of difficulty trying to change some urls and only after several attempts I found out by chance.
I have installed a theme in prestashop 1.6 and I'm trying to enable the left sidebar in products list page AND to product page only.
But when I go to "Advanced settings" of the theme, I can't find those two pages, as you can see in the image below.
Is there another way to enable the sidebar in some pages, hard coded or from the database? Or any other solution?
I am new to magento and I am interested in changing the menu from a magento website. I have installed the magento classic theme, I need to rename the 2 buttons from the main menu (Home and Products).
I've tried modifying some files from app/design/frontend/default/f002/template/page/html, but it didn't work. Any help is appreciated.
I have the community version installed.
Edit:
It was really makes me astonished! However I installed this theme only for you and observed that it was by default menu.Ok NO problem just change the menu name here
open the file app\design\frontend\default\f002\template\page\html\topmenu.phtml and rename as you wish .See the image
And I want to tell you how to know that form which file this menu comes. It is very easy to detect in Magento. Just follow the few images! Please save the images at first or drag and drop each image into the new tab browser to see the actual image for more clear!
Go to the main page (frontend) page
I refereed several ebooks and web tutorials to write a plugin that meets my requirement. However, I am still unable to do it. All I found tutorials show how to render content as widget or sidebar content or modify the content.
I need to get data from database show the content in front end of the website but only on a particular page or tab in the site. Such as forum plugin can be configured to show under new tab.
In another word I need to create my own content type and display it in a tab. I think this is possible with wordpress custom content
I don't need to edit template files. Anybody has idea? thanks..
I have created the articles and menu items that links to that articles. This all works.
But now what I want is, when I click on the menu, it should open up only article (without any template feature, no header , no footer and not even the menu).I am opening the article in a new window. From googling what I found is if I add &tmpl=component to the url it will just load the component, and that will show just the article. But I am not sure how to add this parameter from admin screen to the menu items. The link which is showed in admin screen is not editable!!!. Or should I have to develop a custom menu module to achieve this!!!?
Thanks for help.

Create a new menu item - External Link and then paste the full URL into the box.
