I'm setting up a new Website and i want to show the results of a searching MySQLi query in boxes.
My php code....
$query = mysqli_query($con,"SELECT * FROM `products`");
while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($query)) {
echo "<img src='/Images/".$row['product_image']."' height='200' width='200'>"
echo '<h6> Id:'.$row['product_id'].'</h6>';
echo '<h6> Name:'.$row['product_name'].'</h6>';
echo '<h6> Proce:'.$row['product_price'].'</h6>';
}
With that code the results of a searching query are presented like this
I'm trying using with many ways to achieve a presentation of the results like this way:
Any idea or advice? Thank you
Use css "float: left"
$query = mysqli_query($con,"SELECT * FROM `products`");
while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($query)) {
echo '<div style="float:left">';
echo "<img src='/Images/".$row['product_image']."' height='200' width='200'>";
echo '<h6> Id:'.$row['product_id'].'</h6>';
echo '<h6> Name:'.$row['product_name'].'</h6>';
echo '<h6> Proce:'.$row['product_price'].'</h6>';
echo '</div>';
}
you can use bootstrap to achieve this. For example, just add class="col lg-4" inside the div tag, and you will have 3 columns for each row.
Sample code:
<link href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.6/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet">
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.6/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
<section class="content">
<div class="container">
<div class="row">
<?php
$get = mysqli_query($con, "SELECT * FROM `products` ORDER BY `product_name`");
while ($products = mysqli_fetch_assoc($get)) { ?>
<div class="col-lg-4">
<div class="thumbnail" align="center">
<img src="admin/images/products/<?php echo $products['photo']; ?>" style="width: 220px; height: 150px">
<div class="caption">
<h4>
<?php echo $products['product_name']; ?>
</h4>
<span>$<?php echo number_format($products['price']); ?></span>
<br />
<br />
Detail
<input type="button" name="wishlist" id="add_wishlist" value="+ " onclick="addWishlist('<?php echo $products[id]; ?>', '<?php echo $id_user; ?>')" class="btn btn-info">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<?php } ?>
</div>
</div>
</section>

$sql = "SELECT * FROM comments ORDER BY id LIMIT 2";
$result = mysqli_query($con, $sql);
if (mysqli_num_rows($result) > 0) {
while ($row = mysqli_fetch_assoc($result)) {
echo "<p>";
echo $row['author'];
echo "<br>";

<div class="media response-info">

This is some Bootstrap HTML where I need to create multiple blocks like a table but it just grabs the first item in the DB and prints 50 of them. I'm having trouble figuring out how to mingle the php code and html code so it works correctly.
<section id="latest-news" class="latest-news-section">
<div class="container">
<?php
include_once ('mysql.inc.php');
$ix = $_POST['i'];
$sql = "SELECT * from deposits WHERE d_userid = '$ix' ORDER BY _productionid ASC";
$query = #mysql_query($sql);
$outcome = #mysql_fetch_array($query);
foreach ($outcome as $result1){
?>
This part comes out nicely formatted, but the only data is the first item in the DB, and there are 50 copies made
<div class="col-md-4 col-sm-4">
<div class="latest-post">
<img src="assets/images/<?php echo $outcome['d_picture'] ?>" class="img-responsive" alt="">
<h4>Your ST1 <?php echo $outcome['d_firstname'] ?></h4>
<p>Prod ID <?php echo $outcome['d_productionid'] ?></p>
<p>Color: <?php echo $outcome['d_color'] ?><br />
Equip: <?php echo $outcome['d_equip'] ?><br />
Custom: <?php echo $outcome['d_custom'] ?></p>
<a class="btn btn-primary">View More</a>
</div>
</div>
<?
}
#mysql_close;
?>
</div>
</section>
You should use $result1 and not $outcome
ex: $result1['d_picture']
I'm about to display comments on a page, everything works fine but I want to display the comments from the user first. So, how do I display the user comments from the user_id first? I'm using a while loop to display the comments.
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. :)
<?php
$sql = "SELECT * FROM `comments` WHERE `post_id`=$pid AND `active`=1 ORDER BY ups-downs DESC";
$result = $mysqli->query($sql);
$count = $result->num_rows;
if($count == 1){
$counttext = "1 Comment";
}else{
$counttext = $count ." Comments";
}
?>
<div class="media-area media-area-small">
<h3 class="text-center"><?php echo $counttext; ?></h3>
<?php
while($row = $result->fetch_assoc()){
$uid = (int)$row["user_id"];
$user = get_user_info($mysqli,$uid);
?>
<div class="media">
<a class="pull-left" href="#">
<div class="avatar">
<img class="media-object" src="<?php echo $user["picture"]; ?>" alt="...">
</div>
</a>
<div class="media-body">
<table width="100%">
<tr valign="middle">
<td align="left"><h4 class="media-heading text-left"><?php echo fb_clear_name($mysqli, $user["id"]); ?></h4></td>
<td align="right"><h6 class="pull-right text-muted"><?php echo $row["ups"] - $row["downs"]; ?> bits</h6></td>
</tr>
</table>
<p><?php echo htmlentities($row["content"]); ?></p>
<div class="media-footer">
<i class="fa fa-reply"></i> Reply
<a href="#" class="pull-right text-muted">
<?php echo $row["timestamp"]; ?>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<?php
}
?>
Greetings
You can prefilter the data. For example use
$user_comments=array();
$other_comments=array();
while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result))
{
if($row['user']==$current_user)
{
$user_comments[]=$row;
}
else
{
$other_comments[]=$row;
}
}
$comments=array_merge($user_comments,$other_comments);
Then you can display the information the way you want to.
I have box for dynamic images and desc slider using nivoslider. Now I have big problem -> my PHP code is:
<div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
<?php
$featured = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM featured WHERE order > 0 ORDER BY order ASC");
$count_featured = mysql_num_rows($featured);
if ($count_featured < 1) { echo "error data" }
while ($swcms = mysql_fetch_assoc($featured)) { ?>
<img width="500" height="170" src="<?php echo "$swcms[image]"; ?>" title="#<?PHP echo "$swcms[id]"; ?>" alt="" border="" />
<div id="<?PHP echo "$swcms[id]"; ?>" class="nivo-html-caption"><?PHP echo "$swcms[desc]"; ?> </div>
<?php $c++; }?>
</div>
This Worked 100% But in firebug I see many GET undefined request after each slide:
I found the problem; nivoslider worked with this method for show images/desc (caption):
<div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
<img src="..." title="#id" />
</div>
<div id="id" class="nivo-html-caption"></div>
And my PHP loop is:
<div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
<img src="..." title="#id" />
<div id="id" class="nivo-html-caption"></div>
</div>
How do I fix this PHP code for nivoslider loop?
<div id="slider" class="nivoSlider">
<?php
$featured = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM featured WHERE order > 0 ORDER BY order ASC");
$count_featured = mysql_num_rows($featured);
$captions = '';
if ($count_featured < 1) { echo "error data" }
while ($swcms = mysql_fetch_assoc($featured)) { ?>
<img width="500" height="170" src="<?php echo "$swcms[image]"; ?>" title="#<?PHP echo "$swcms[id]"; ?>" alt="" border="" />
<?php $captions .= '<div id="' . $swcms[id] .'" class="nivo-html-caption"' . $swcms[desc] .'</div>'; ?>
<?php $c++; }?>
</div>
<?php echo $captions; ?>
I have a social network that has custom made comments section for users. Users are also able to reply to comments. Each comment has a 'reply' button that when pressed, uses jquery to make a new text box structure appear.
It is a bit lengthy in syntax and logic so I am a bit lost on what the problem may be ( it is not functioning at all. I have also run out of trouble shoot methods.
Here is the code for the comments and replies:
