Using <iframe> inside a Twig PHP form to submit to database

Sorta basic Twig question here, I'm trying to place an iframe inside a Twig PHP form. The form works with normal text "Yellow dog, blue bunny", but it doesn't see the form as being filled out when I put an iframe code inside the form.
videos.php
'embed-code' => 'required|min:100',
VideosController.php
'embed-code' => $this->purify($this->request->getPost("embed-code")),
HtmlForm
<form method="post" action="{{ url('videos/add') }}" id="postform">
<div class="form-row form-group">
<div class="col-sm-12 col-lg-12">
<label>YouTube Embed Code*</label>
<input type="text" class="form-control {{ errors['embed-code'] is defined ? 'border-danger' : '' }}" name="embed-code">
</div>
</div>
Again, the form works 100% WITH NORMAL TEXT, but it doesn't recognize iframe code, it will just say "embed-code is required"

laravel project, page that has many notes note insertion issue

hello I am working on laravel project that am using relations between 2 tables i add a page that has many notes, so i am making a web page that allows me to add many pages and it shows the title of each page and inside every page, i can add many notes, I have problem in adding notes, am not sure if it is a problem in the route file or the blade file
i tried to add many variables in add note section in blade file but most of them gave me the msg of undefined even if am using the same variable i already have defined in the function inside the controller
showonepage.blade.php
<div class="row list-group-item-info page-title">
<div class="col-xs-12">
{{$id_show_single->title}}
</div>
</div>
#foreach($id_show_single->notes as $note )
<div class="row list-group-item">
<div class="col-xs-8">
{{$note->text}}
</div>
<div class="col-xs-4">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-danger pull-right">Delete</button>
<button type="button" class="btn btn-default pull-right">Edit</button>
</div>
</div>
#endforeach
<div class="row list-group-item">
<form method="POST" action="showdatapage/{{$id_page->id}}/notestore">
{{csrf_field()}}
<div class="input-group">
<input type="text" name="note_text" class="form-control" placeholder="Add Note . . .">
<span class="input-group-btn">
<button class="btn btn-default" type="submit">Add</button>
</span>
</div>
</form>
</div>
Route::get('showdatapage/{id_show_single}','PageController#ViewSinglePage');
Route::post('showdatapage/{id_page}/addnote','NoteController#PostGeneralNote');
class NoteController extends Controller
{
public function PostGeneralNote(Request $NoteReq, Page $id_page) {
$note = new note;
$note->text = $NoteReq->note_text;
$id_page->pages()->save($note);
return back();
}
}
Pagecontroller
public function ViewSinglePage(page $id_show_single) {
return view('showdatapdgone',compact('id_show_single'));
}
the final result when i type the id of page it gives me the page title and the note belongs to it but when i try to add new not it gave me not found page and i noticed in url for ex: http://127.0.0.1:8000/showdatapage/1 after adding new not it becomes http://127.0.0.1:8000/showdatapage/showdatapage/1 it doubled the url address
my project has 2 tables one for pages and one for notes , each page has title i connect each title in database with auto increment id the same id that i use to show single page, single page with single title from table "pages" can contain many notes, in notes table i have text column which is connect to auto increment id and there is a foreign key page_id i use to in making relation between 2 tables, the project is working good, except the add of notes in single page which has single title n single page id

laravel how to secure passing data from blade to controller

How can I secure data from being change if user used inspect element in chrome to change id, price..etc, I know I can't prevent users from using inspect element and do changes but I dont want these changes to have effect
I used this in blade to pass data from button using ajax
<button id="Item_root" data-id="{{$product->product_id}}" data-detailsfield="{{$product->product_details}}" data-titlefield="{{$product->product_title}}" data-pricefield="{{$product->product_price}}" data-photofield="{{ asset('images/' . $product->product_image) }}" class="Item_root Button_root">
and from inspect element user can see it like this:
<button id="Item_root" data-id="19" data-detailsfield="Serves 6-8 People" data-titlefield="Package # 8U" data-pricefield="105.99" data-photofield="http://localhost/crisp/public/images/Chicken-Fajitas.jpg" class="Item_root Button_root">
<div class="Item_image" style="background-image:url('http://localhost/crisp/public/images/Chicken-Fajitas.jpg');"></div>
<div class="Item_itemContent">
<div class="Item_topSection">
<span class="Item_name styles_just-right styles_base styles_spacing-base">Package # 8U</span>
<span class="Item_price styles_just-right styles_base styles_spacing-base styles_semibold">$105.99</span>
</div>
<div class="Item_description styles_small styles_base styles_spacing-base styles_line-default">Serves 6-8 People</div>
</div>
</button>
To preventing change values by users in inspect element and send it again to controller, you should use CSRF_TOKEN in input fields,
Take a look at here:
In laravel 5.6
<form method="POST" action="/profile">
#csrf
...
</form>
And also Laravel has Validation for check all input type that you defined.
Here is the documerntation :

Laravel - Method Not Allowed HTTP Exception (RouteCollection.php line 218)

I'm currently new on Laravel and trying to develop my first project. I have this MethodNotAllowedHttpException in RouteCollection.php line 218 error during my development for inserting data into database. I have searched both Google & Stackoverflow for solutions but non are related to my current problem and some of them way too complex for this simple problem (I think so...).
I have my form in my checklist page:-
<form action="{{url('addchecklist')}}" method="POST">
{{ csrf_field() }}
<div class="row">
<div class="col-sm-12">
<div class="text-left">
<input type="hidden" name="schmFK" value="{{$id}}">
<div class="col-sm-6">
<h4>
<label>Section</label>
<select class="selectpicker form-control" data-live-search="true" name="sctionPK">
<option selected>Select the Section</option>
#foreach ($sction as $key=>$slct1)
<option value="{{$slct1->ssctionPK}}">{{strtoupper($slct1->ssctionName)}}</option>
#endforeach
</select>
</h4>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<button type="button" data-toggle="modal" data-target=".bs-example-modal-lg" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm" style="margin-top:33px; padding-top:7px; padding-bottom:7px;">Add Section</button>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<h4>
<label>Severity</label>
<select class="selectpicker form-control" name="svrityPK">
<option selected>Select the Severity</option>
#foreach ($svrity as $key=>$slct2)
<option value="{{$slct2->severityPK}}">{{strtoupper($slct2->severityName)}}</option>
#endforeach
</select>
</h4>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-12">
<h4>
<label>Question</label>
<input class="form-control" type="text" placeholder="Question" name="question">
</h4>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-6">
#include('widgets.button', array('class'=>'primary btnaddstd', 'size'=>'lg', 'type'=>'submit', 'value'=>'Add Checklist'))
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</form>
Then I have this route for inserting data from the form into database:-
Route::post('/addchecklist', function (Request $request){
// Create instance to store record
$scheme = new App\checklists;
$scheme->schmFK = $request->schmFK;
$scheme->schSectionFK = $request->sctionPK;
$scheme->severityFK = $request->svrityPK;
$scheme->clQuestion = $request->question;
$scheme->save(); // save the input
// Sort all records descending to retrieve the newest added record
$input = App\checklists::orderBy('cklistPK','desc')->first();
// Set search field variable default value of null
$src = isset($src) ? $src : null;
// Get Checklist reference from cklists_stddetails with the designated ID
$chkstd = App\Cklists_stddetail::where('cklistFK', $input->cklistPK)
->join('stddetails', 'stdDtlFK', '=', 'stddetails.sdtlPK')
->get();
// Get the newest stored record
$chcklst = App\checklists::where('cklistPK', $input->cklistPK)->firstOrFail();
// Get all data from table 'stddetails'
$stddetail = App\stddetails::all();
// Get all data from table 'standards'
$stndrd = App\standard::all();
// Get all data from table 'sections'
$sction = App\Section::all();
// Redirect to 'addref.blade' page with the newest added record
return redirect('addref/'.$input->cklistPK)
->with('src', $src)
->with('chkstd', $chkstd)
->with('id',$input->cklistPK)
->with('schmid', $request->schmFK)
->with('chcklst', $chcklst)
->with('stddetail', $stddetail)
->with('stndrd', $stndrd)
->with('sction', $sction);
});
My scenario is this, I have a form for user to input data in it. Then when the data is saved, they will be redirected to the page of that data to do something there. The data is successfully saved in the database but the redirection to the designated page (addref.blade) with the newest record ID return error:-
But the URL goes where I wanted it to go (means the URL is right):-
As you can see, the usual solution from the net that I found are:-
Make sure both method from routes and the form is the same, and mine it is:-
method="POST"
Route::post
Make sure the URL routes can recognize the form's action URL, and mine it is:-
<form action="{{url('addchecklist')}}" method="POST">
Route::post('/addchecklist', function (Request $request)
Include CSRF token field in the form, and mine it have been included:-
<form action="{{url('addchecklist')}}" method="POST">
{{ csrf_field() }}
I have tried those simple solution provided on the net and nothing is helpful enough. I'm still wondering what else I have missed and hoped that anyone here can assist on solving my issue.
I think the error is that you have a redirect which you have not registered in your routes or web.php file.
Sample redirect:
Route::post('/addchecklist', function (Request $request){
//some post process here...
return redirect('addref/'.$input->cklistPK)
->with('src', $src)
->with('chkstd', $chkstd)
->with('id',$input->cklistPK)
->with('schmid', $request->schmFK)
->with('chcklst', $chcklst)
->with('stddetail', $stddetail)
->with('stndrd', $stndrd)
->with('sction', $sction);
});
Route::get('addref/{id}', function(Request $request){
//show the blade.php with data
});
Can you please write :
url('/addchecklist')
instead of :
url('addchecklist')
and then print_r('in');
and die; and check what you get.
Route::post('/addchecklist', function (Request $request){
print_r('in');
die;
});

How to add functions in Bootstrap modal - Laravel

I'm currently developing a system with Laravel framework. Though, I'm not very familiar with MVC architecture yet.
When I'm developing the system, I come across a problem which relates with this bootstrap modal that has a form in it. I'd like to put functions in it so that it could be submitted to the database.
I have followed several tutorials, but didn't come up with a solution because they're all using pages instead of modals.
So, here is the HTML of the modal:
<div class="modal hide fade" id="linkSettings">
<div class="modal-header">
<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal">×</button>
<h3>Add New Link</h3>
</div>
<div class="modal-body">
<div class="control-group">
<label class="control-label" for="focusedInput">Add A Link:</label>
<div class="controls">
<textarea class="autogrow"></textarea>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
Close
Save changes
</div>
</div>
Here is the Javascript of the above modal:
$('.btn-settingLink').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
$('#linkSettings').modal('show');
});
Now, how do I put the function in the Controller so that whenever a user presses Save Changes button, it will store the value in <textarea> into the database? Is there anything to do with the Javascript code? and Do I need to use {{Form::open('main/addLink','POST')}} at the form to pass its values to the controller and model?
Basically, all I ever wanted was to have the CRUD functions by using modal.
First you need to create a form with a route....
<form method="post" action="{{URL::to('Link/addlink')}}>
Or like you showed above, with your Blade {{Form}} ...either way
Then your textarea needs an id and name
<textarea id="mytext" name="mytext"></textarea>
So your HTML becomes...
<form method="post" action="{{URL::to('Link/addlink')}}>
<div class="modal-body">
<div class="control-group">
<label class="control-label" for="focusedInput">Add A Link:</label>
<div class="controls">
<textarea id="mytext" name="mytext" class="autogrow"></textarea>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
Close
<input type="submit" id="submit" name="submit" class="btn btn-primary">Save changes</input>
</div>
</form>
Then in your Link controller...or wherever you're actually sending this form..no idea what your controllers are named :)
public function addlink(){
$input = Input::all();
//whatever validation you wanna do, with error handling etc...not gonna provide that, thats up to you
$yourmodel = New Model;
$yourmodel->text = $input['mytext'];
$yourmodel->save();
Return Redirect::back();
}
EDIT (for Ajax)
Add this script at the bottom of your page...
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$('input#submit').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
var text = $('#mytext').val();
var url = 'your url' //we were using Link/addlink in the other example
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: url,
data: { mytext: text },
success: function(){
//Probably add the code to close your modal box here if successful
$('#linkSettings').hide();
},
});
});
});
</script>
PS Completely untested....you will need some tweaking, plus the fact that your controller has the Redirect will probably make it not work since this will just be expecting an echoed Json string
But these are the nuts and bolts, and the foundation is there for you to continue on your own I would think...
