REPHRASED QUESTION
Please atleast check this out https://github.com/vipertecpro/simplesamllaravel.git
it might help others to implement saml integration in laravel.
I've been trying to implement azure saml login integration in laravel so i came across this https://simplesamlphp.org/ , now I've downloaded the whole repo. and put it into my public folder and it's working great, but it's vulnerable so i decided to put it into laravel root directory so that i can get access to environment variable or other laravel helper methods, i've been searching alot how can i get hold onto laravel helper methods inside public folder, but unfortunately it doesn't work , so i decided to put saml repo. into my laravel root directory to get access of laravel helper methods.
so here i am stuck with this problem.
am i clear now ?
Here is the screen shot of my project directory
Problem : I've have many config files which needs to be set as per ENV file, i just couldn't figure it out how can i get use of environment variables into samllogin directory.
Here is what i've tried in my _include.php file which is the root of samllogin directory
require_once '../vendor/autoload.php';
// require_once '../vendor/laravel/framework/src/Illuminate/Foundation/helpers.php';
echo env('APP_URL');
die();
I'm very close to resolve this. Any help or reference appreciated.

Laravel Project is installed in my root directory and I have another project inside root directory with Core PHP ,
COREPHP-PROJECT is the one I want to access , but every time I try to access example.com/COREPHP-PROJECT it's giving me 404 error.
I have tried more than 50 solutions from internet and nothing is working so far.
What I'm doing wrong here?
NOTE: .htaccess file is renamed as I wanted to test without it too.
I think it is actually fine to have a project directory inside the applications root directory. A good application should not be build inside the framework. It should be build with the framework. If in 5 years somehow laravel is not anymore supported you can decouple it more easy and use it in a new framework.
You just need to assign the path to your composer.json under the psr-4 part.
"autoload": {
"psr-4": {
"MainApplication\\": "app/",
"CorePhpProject\\": "CORE-PHP-PROJECT/app/",
But you should only route over the Laravel router.
You can add your routes inside laravels RouteServiceProvider.php
Have a look at the documentation:
https://laravel.com/docs/8.x/routing#the-default-route-files
Should look something like this then:
Route::prefix('coreproject')
->group(base_path('CORE-PHP-PROJECT/routes/web.php'));
Then you can call your laravel routes like this
/home
and the project one are called like /coreproject/home
I got into same task of integrating core php folder inside laravel , therefore solution i found that create a core php file with extension test.php in public folder at laravel root, and try to access in browser after php artisan serve, you will find you can access it.
Hello everyone i am new to laravel and i hope someone can help me about my problem. I created a laravel project. After that I import it to cpanel using softaculous. Then, I made some changes base on what i research in the net to avoid showing important file like .env . I created a folder relative to public_html, let say the folder name is 'tamangbilang' where i put almost all of my code except the index.php. Inside my public_html folder, I have another folder named as 'tamangbilang' where my index.php resides. I have followed this instruction https://dev.to/pushpak1300/deploying-laravel7-app-on-shared-hosting-hostinger-31cj the only difference is that I put another folder inside public_html.I also did some changes on the index.php code
require __DIR__.'/../../tamangbilang/vendor/autoload.php';
$app = require_once __DIR__.'/../../tamangbilang/bootstrap/app.php';
Everything is working fine on my login page(my first page) but when I try to login, an error occur.
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
It seems like the connection between routes was lost. I did further testing and I notice that the code is working well only if there is an index.php, before the route in the url. example
http://my-sample-domain.org/tamangbilang/index.php/login
P.S. I don't have access for ssh.
go to bootstrap folder & open cache folder then delete config. after that please check your routes this error basically arises due to routes not found for that go to your project installed on local and write php artisan route: list check if the route is present or not.

Thanks for reviewing my edit
How to Fix it?
Zipping your Lumen Project
Go to your shared hosting file manager
I assume your shared hosting file manager have this directory structure like /home/username/public_html.
Create a folder outside public_html or htdocs, the folder name is up to you, example "myfolder" the structure looks like /home/username/myfolder
Upload your project to the new folder you have been created and unzip.
After unzip, inside the "myfolder" there is a folder named "public", move the contents inside to
For Main Domain
/home/username/public_html
For Subdomain or Subfolder
/home/username/public_html/sub
After moving those files, edit the index.php inside /home/username/public_html or /home/username/public_html/sub
Inside the file you see this code
$app = require __DIR__.'/../bootstrap/app.php';
change the code to
For Main Domain
$app = require __DIR__.'/../myfolder/bootstrap/app.php';
For Sub Domain/Subfolder
$app = require __DIR__.'/../../myfolder/bootstrap/app.php';
Don't forget to edit the APP_URL in .env file inside "myfolder"
Example the APP_URL .env file
APP_URL=http://yourdomain.com or http://sub.yourdomain.com or http://yourdomain.com/sub
I not got any answer from stackoverflow, and doesn't one onswer my question in stackoverflow, so i try hard find own solution with manual upload my lumen application in my shared hosting.
just put your lumen application in outside public_html and put your index.php file to subdomain and edit index.php set route to your subdomain.
if anyone have problem like me and read this question, you can ask from this question, i will help you if i got notice from this page.
You will need to move it with FileZilla to a subfolder inside /var/www/html/foldername and set configuration to the directory, but I wouldn't recommend you to set up a Micro Service in Shared host.
I am trying to include the YouTube Analytics Service of Google but I can not access it through the Vendor folder.
include(app_path.'path/to/analytics/Google_YoutubeAnalyticsService.php')
It is not working, because it defaults to the App folder.
How can I get out of the App folder and into the Vendor folder (where the YouTube Analytics file is at)?
The error is {
include(C:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\app/path/to/analytics/Google_YoutubeAnalyticsService.php):
failed to open stream: No such file or directory
From where do you want to include that file ?
Place a reference to your file in composer.json autoload object:
"autoload": {
"files":["your_file_path"]
}
Run composer dumpautoload, and you'll have your file :)
Actually you have in the helpers function the path so basically the function base_path give the direction to the root of your project so
echo base_path() . '/vendor';
Should be the route to your vendor folder.
You can se all the documentation in
Helper Functions Laravel
Be sure that you are seeing the documentation of the laravel version that you are using (I put the link for the 4.2 version).
This question was asked a long time ago and the answers reflect that. Most the time now all you need to do is import it using the "use" statement if you installed it with composer. Composer will already reference all the important directories.
It should be something like this, but it will vary depending on the project.
use FolderNameUsuallyGitHubUserName\ClassNameorGitHubProjectName\Class;
That could include a base class as well as some exception classes.
use FolderNameUsuallyGitHubUserName\ClassNameorGitHubProjectName\ClassException;
Usually most packages if compliant with modern composer and php standards work in this fashion.
I've got a clean install of codeigniter running. I need to access a library file diretly, but i get Access forbidden all the time. Is there any way to fix this? can't find anything about this in the config files etc.
you should try using the codeigniter loader class, if i'm understanding the full question here, example below:
$this->load->library('email');
