I'm looking for a way to customize the woocommerce sidebar. I was able to find the template named sidebar.php but it only contain the get_sidebar('shop') function, but there is no sidebar-shop.php file inside the woocommerce templates folder. I'm not able to customize it to place it on the right side of the screen. I've setted up bootstrap rows and classes for almost all of the main templates files, but also if I set three products per row and col-3, the sidebar will stay to the bottom of the page. I'm using hooks as suggested from docs. Can anyone guide me please?

1) I'm trying to remove the breacrumb from page-title div using php instead of display:none but i can't manage to found the good hook, i check in many different php files etc but anyway i'm not good enough in PHP. I'm like zero.
2) I also want to display the breadcrumb into the footer. I manage to found a way to add it into the footer already using simply
add_action( 'flatsome_footer', 'flatsome_breadcrumb', 10 );
But i did not found the hook to put it into their "footer-1" that is a child div of the footer block. This flatsome_footer is the parent div and it will make me add more css for it.

All i know is that their page title block is using (shop-page-title category-page-title page-title) css class.

If you want remove breadcrumb from shop or product page, you should findout hook from below files and comment that code.

I am creating a Wordpress custom theme, and I've been having issues with my woocommerce template rendering. Firstly, not all of the pages are showing up (some of them are reverting to the index.php and page.php files). Secondly, for the pages that are showing up (the single product page, the archive products page), the css is not being applied. I have tried everything suggested on the docs (hooks), but I have failed. Here is a link to my github for you to see the file structure.

possible issues wuth my code:
my code is not written in the standard wordpress way. I only have three pages so far, index.php, page-about.php, and page-team.php, which work fine. page.php and single.php are empty. thus, my site consists of 2 pages, and index.php.
I've been struggling with this for 2 days, and would really appreciate some guidance of hoe to get me back on track. Cheers

I would recommend you to start with some default WordPress theme like twentyseventeen theme or other. These themes will have all basic functionality of WordPress. Check functions.php in the theme folder to customize/add functionality.

To overwrite woocommerce css you need to add a woocommerce folder to your theme. And go from there.
Woocommerce will also always use their own templates so the easiest way to change the layout is to use a child-plugin from woocommerce.
It has been a few years since I properly worked with WordPress. Now I have a proposal to build a WordPress site where every page has a custom design and only some areas of each page is editable.
The reason for this is to build a bespoke layout on each page which cannot be messed up by someone non-technical editing it in the CMS, except for small areas which they can customise.
e.g. A page contains one div which has some text in it, which can be edited in the WP admin backend, but the rest of the page cannot be edited.
Can this be done? How?
Edit: There needs to be multiple editable areas not just one. I know how to make custom pages/templates.
One method may be to create new page templates. Just create a new file in your main theme folder (or the templates folder if there is one). As long at the top of that file contains the line:

Template Name: <your template name>

You can design the page however you want. The data pulled from the admin section will go wherever you invoke
the_content();
The rest of the page can be hardcoded.
Then on the post edit page, on the right side (usually), you can choose the template with your template name for that page. It may be a good idea to copy the current post.php or single.php into your custom file and work from there.
For restricting access you can look at setting up user levels and keep your content contributors as "Authors" instead of "admins" so they can't change themes or edit settings.

For creating specific unique pages with an area that gets changed you should look into custom Page Templates. You can create a page template by dropping a php file with the right naming structure into your theme hierarchy and it will get picked up by the back-end as template option when you create a page.

I solved this problem using a plugin called Advanced Custom Fields which does exactly what I required.
i m a newbie to wordpress. I have started theme development and encountered these problems. I think these kind of problem does have a solution, but i m not able to find it out.
I m trying to make a custom page. Uptill now i have made header, footer and main index page.
I see that whenever my theme is activated, I see these default index page, with header and footer assign to it.
I have also made some cutom about us , contact us pages using the Add Pages Functionality of wordpress.
My Problem:
1.Now I m trying to make custom product page where I will have more than 100 images on that pages, and then i can change the images, add the images and description and the link url in future. I have made some html code and put it in the text Tab . I can also see the images on the frontend of the Custom page. But my template breaks. Images goes up and description goes far below.
Also i wanted to add fancybox to all the images which are goin to be replaced or added. But again my template breaks.
So can we make custom.php page and do some coding or anything which you feel is the right way of doing it, Please let me know.

Actually you don't really need to create a custom template for this unless if you are planing to use that same template on another page.
If your page name is products , just create a file called page-products.php in your theme root. and write your code inside that page.

I am not a fan of the template where it has the description and additional information below and in tabs, I would like the have the description and additional information to the right of the product image. Is there a setting I missed or will I have to edit it via CSS myself?
There is no setting for layout in WooCommerce. If you can do what you need to do with CSS then thats great. Otherwise, you will need to use hooks and actions in your functions.php to move things around. You can also overwrite woocommerce template files by copying them to your template with the same structure and file names you find in the WooCommerce plugin.
