aws cli gives access denied when running shell_exect - php

On the command line I can run:
aws s3 sync s3://my_bucket . --dryrun
just fine.
However, I'm trying to run it as a command in Laravel:
public function handle()
{
$command = 'aws s3 sync s3://my_bucket . --dryrun';
shell_exec($command);
}
and am getting:
fatal error: An error occurred (AccessDenied) when calling the
ListObjectsV2 operation: Access Denied
Why does the same command work on the command line but not within my PHP application?

I followed the advice of #Sammitch, and used
--profile my_config
where my_config was a named set of configuration parameters created using:
aws configure --profile my_config

Run mjml cli using symfony process

I've installed mjml cli using the following command (as described in the mjml documentation):
npm install mjml --save
now if i did node_modules/.bin/mjml in the command line it will run successfully.
the problem is when i use the symfony process component in php i got the following error (even if it's the right path):
The command "/Users/qoraiche/Documents/my-app/node_modules/.bin/mjml" failed. Exit Code: 127(Command not found) Working directory: /Users/qoraicheOS/Documents/my-app/public Output: ================ Error Output: ================ env: node: No such file or directory
Symfony process code:
$process = new Process(base_path('node_modules/.bin/mjml'));
$process->run();
if (!$process->isSuccessful()) {
throw new ProcessFailedException($process);
}
echo $process->getOutput();
By the way i have installed mjml globally as well and try it with no luck.
Try providing the full path to node.js when calling the MJML binary from a Symfony Process().
$process = new Process('/your/path/to/node ' . base_path('node_modules/.bin/mjml'));
I use this method in my own apps. Of course, you will need to provide the input and output files to actually transpile anything.

Deploying existing local project to Bluemix BuildPack error

I hope someone can help me out with this issue I'm facing.
I've made a fully functional project on a local server and would now like to deploy it to Bluemix Cloud Foundry.
I've followed the tutorial: https://console.eu-gb.bluemix.net/docs/starters/upload_app.html
But when I'm trying to push it through terminal with following commands
cf push app_name -b https://github.com/cloudfoundry/php-buildpack.git -s cflinuxfs2
cf push app_name -b https://github.com/cloudfoundry/go-buildpack
cf push app_name -c start_command
cf push app_name -m 512m
But non seems to work, since every single time I get the following error
Staging failed: Buildpack compilation step failed
-----> Composer command failed
FAILED
Error restarting application: BuildpackCompileFailed
It is a PHP app build with PHPStorm on Symfony and Doctrine if that matters.
I am fairly new to all server/setup/deployment configurations as well as command line.
EDIT 1
I figured out this part thanks to this link: https://support.run.pivotal.io/entries/109600943-cf-push-ing-a-symfony-app-fails-with-Composer-command-failed-
It seems that by default the buildpack assumes that you want all of the files you push to be public. Because of this assumption, it takes all of your files and moves them into the doc root of either HTTPD or Nginx.
By creating the file .bp-config/options.json in the root of your project. Then inside options.json add
{
"WEBDIR": "web"
}
This will tell the buildpack that you have a specific directory to use for the doc root, so it will just use that instead of moving everything into the default doc root.
However...
This brings me a new issue and returns the following error
FAILED
Error restarting application: Start unsuccessful
If i enter the recent log the terminal provides me this:

EDIT 2 (updated error msg)

Laravel Scheduling call controller

I work with Laravel Task Scheduling, but I have a problem when I call some method from my controller.
protected function schedule(Schedule $schedule)
{
$schedule->call('UserController#deleteInactiveUsers')->everyMinute();
//$schedule->call('App\Http\Controllers\UserController#deleteInactiveUsers')->everyMinute();
}
When I call with uncommented line i get this error:
[ReflectionException]
Class RecurrenceInvoiceController does not exist
and then I insert fully qualified namespace path and then I get this error:
[PDOException] SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
And
[ErrorException] PDO::__construct(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
Where is the problem? Which way is correct to call method from Controller from Laravel Task Scheduling.
I stumbled months ago with the same problem, until I could fix it.
I use laravel 5.2 and the kernel call my drivers this way:
$schedule->call('App\Http\Controllers\MyController#MyAction')->everyMinute();
I hope this will help someone else ;)
Directly put this in schedule function in kernel.php.
$schedule->call('App\Http\Controllers\YourController#function')->everyMinute();
This will run after every minute.
Note:
In localhost, you have to run it manually but on the server, you should try this command in your cronjob this will automatically call your controller function after every minute
php -d register_argc_argv=On /home/iflasity/public_html/foldername /artisan schedule:run > /dev/null 2>&1
cd /home/iflasity/public_html/foldername && php artisan schedule:run /dev/null 2>&1
For me, the first error looks like you need to run composer update, then composer dump-autoload.
If it works you will also get the second error, the 2002 error meaning is:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket" (see (Client Error Codes and Messages in MySQL docs).
You need to set your database configuration in your .env file
OK. I solved this problem. The problem was with Docker Cron container. Cron container was not linked with MySQL container.
Thanks for all answers.
Also now I test with more simple function to insert new currency in database. Here is code:
public function handle()
{
$currency = new Currency();
$currency->currency_name = 'EUR';
$currency->save();
$this->info('New currency is successfully generated!');
}
This function is from laravel/app/Console/Commands. I call from Kernel > schedule(). Not work.
When I insert simple log write to handle() function like:
File::put(base_path() . '/storage/logs/test_logs.txt', 'Test log ' . Carbon::now()->format('Y-m-d H:i:s') . PHP_EOL);
this works. But when I try to create new object from Models and save into db -> this not work.

Amazon ElasticBeanstalk configuration not working

I have able to successfully deploy a php application using git in elastic beanstalk, but the configuration files doesnot work. I created a .ebextensions folder on my root application folder and created a config file with the following command:
container_commands:
00_make_assets:
command: "sudo mkdir /var/app/current/assets"
I get the following error message on the dashboard
Command failed on instance. Return code: 1 Output: [CMD-AppDeploy/AppDeployStage0/EbExtensionPostBuild] command failed with error code 1: Error occurred during build: Command 00_make_assets failed.
All I want to do is create a folder and give 777 permission to it.
The output in the log file (/var/log/eb-commandprocessor.log) shows:
[2014-10-17T11:01:43.487Z] ERROR [2341] : Command CMD-AppDeploy failed!
[2014-10-17T11:01:43.488Z] INFO [2341] : Command processor returning results:

Has anyone been in this situation? How can this issue be solved? Any help will be much appreciated.
