I have a webserver using apache2.
The sites configuration is /path/to/apache2/sites-enabled/my-site.conf (I only have this site in this folder)

When I visit the site, apache prompts me with a username/password field. Then, most of the time I get the username/password field again. This keeps happening for many times (never reached the point where apache is satisfied).
Sometimes it only requires to be entered once and then it works fine, and sometimes after the first attempt it loads a part of the site and prompts me again.
The current setup is cloudflare -> nginx -> apache2 -> my-php-site in case that matters.
I restarted the machine and apache2 multiple times.
I recreated the .htpassd file.
I added additional user.
I purged the cloudflare cache.
I tried multiple browser on different computer.
I tried changing valid-user to user <username>.
But I always got the same problem

I'm trying to serve a Laravel 7 site on my server, built using a Raspberry Pi and storing the files on an external hard drive.
I cloned my Laravel project from Github, ran composer install and after a bit of fiddling and configuration, the root page loaded. However, the root page is the only route that will load. Neither my own routes nor the auth routes generated by Laravel work. Any attempt to access a different route leads to a 404 error thrown by Apache on my server.
Here is my VirtualHost config file in Apache:

Not sure what is going on here. The same thing happens with projects generated on the server as well as the cloned project.
Permissions on /mnt/external/public_html/MyProject are set to 775 all the way up to external, and the whole path is owned by the www-data user.

But the domain just won't work. I don't even know why I tried the same thing with an HTML page and it worked. I know I should've asked this on the moodle forum, but the interface there just confuses me.
I've tried to look in many answers but none has been a solution for me (https://i.imgur.com/Ve63mrk.png).
Also if it's not clear: DNS is ready, I have an A record pointing to the site's IP. If relevant, the machine is Ubuntu 18.04, and the webserver is Apache 2.
The solution was to just reinstall the moodle instance. I used this tutorial: https://musaamin.web.id/how-to-install-moodle-on-ubuntu-18-04/. And make sure your domain has an A record pointing to your server's IP.
I'm trying to get apache2 to point to a PHP based application (word press in this case but the config needs to be generic enough to work for any php application).
and it either displays some basic HTML file access page or errors with "You don't have permission". I don't really know apache and I don't know PHP at all. Here's my current site_config file as it stands(with retractions replaced with ):

I would also like to make it so you can have multiple websites on the same box but I'm not sure how to change the VirtualHost arg *:80 to account for that, I just get loads of ignoring errors.
I also have the following line in my apache2.conf:
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
Folder permissions are set to 0755 for all files & folders in the project directory
output of apache2 -v:

P.s. I know nothing about PHP and very little about apache2 so for this, speak to me as a total noob.
To solve The first problem I had to change the following lines:
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
to:
Require all granted
this finally allowed apache to allow users access to the folders, the second thing was to add an alias:
Alias /<app_name> "/home/<app_user>/<app_location>/staging/current"
and it started working as expected so now my site config looks like:

I have just gone through the Symblog tutorials on http://tutorial.symblog.co.uk/docs/customising-the-view-more-with-twig.html
In prod mode, if i access the url like so:
http://local.mysite.co.uk
I get the home page with links to all the blog posts.
However if i click one of the blog posts then I get a 404, in fact any of the links (to the about or contact) all return a 404, eg:
http://local.mysite.co.uk/12/a-day-with-symfony2
If I then access the prod mode via the app_dev.php all the links work again, ie:
http://local.mysite.co.uk/app.php/12/a-day-with-symfony2
I have run to ensure the mod rewrites should be working and restarted apache but no joy.
sudo a2enmod actions
Does anyone know why this might be happening?

When I add an AllowOverride All to the vhost file and restart apache I get the follwoing error:
* Starting web server apache2

* The apache2 configtest failed.
Output of config test was:

AllowOverride not allowed here
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.
Altering the vhost worked (thanks to https://stackoverflow.com/users/308825/maerlyn).
Placing a directory tag with the Allowoverride All fixed the issue. Seems that the rewrites are specific to each vhost.

I'm using WAMPSERVER to run a wordpress site that has to be acessible by the users in my network, like a environment for testing together.
Localhost works fine, but at first i couldn't access the aplication from other computers in the network. I created a rule to open the port 80, created an Alias in the Apache configuration, and it worked but the theme and any images inside subfolders wouldn't load and the console was returning lots of 404 responses.
I want to map the subfolders and its files that are under the 'base dir' of the site. I tried tons of options in the Apache conf. file but i couldn't make it.

The site with it's theme broken because the requisition returned a 404
Well i found the problem.
Even though i couldn't enter the wordpress-admin i decided to check the 'wp-config.php' file just in case something is wrong or missing.
And what i did find is that the 'Home-URL' and the 'WP-URL' were set at 'localhost/website' which means that all the requisitions would point at this location as a base directory.
All i had to do was to use the 'define' comand and set the site's URL to the machine's IP and now the environment is all set up for the guys over here to develop and test their stuff.
